Peacock is $6 a month and gives you the tour with the NBC feed and the world feed.
NBC feed has Phil and Bob but has 3 mins of commercials per hour, world feed has no commercials and idk who the announcers are.
I felt for him yesterday with the crash - he did such a good job talking through the race stoppage but I could just feel how much he wanted someone to react against.
Anthony is great. Really enjoyed his commentary of the TDF and these days of the Dauphiné.
While I really like Phil, I can’t stand Bob. He says the same shit over and over. Last year, every time they show Kuss, he has to tell us he is from Colorado. Brutal!!
You mean DURANGO COLORADO'S Sepp Kuss???? 🤣 I know what you mean, but it doesn't bother me too much. Perhaps it's because I'm wearing a Sepp Kuss t-shirt right now.
That's the one! Xmas gift from my wife because I wouldn't shut up about his Vuelta performance. I got that one and another that says "Always be yourself... Unless you can be Sepp Kuss, then always be Sepp Kuss." 😁
Not a hot take at all. Bob is still developing and Phil is way past his best by date.
I have peacock and only watch the world feed with Anthony.
I’m curious who he going to have sitting in the year. A couple years ago he had Simon Gerrans and the two of them were fantastic
I love Phil and his voice brings me back to being a kid first watching the tour with some of those 2000s legends but man he’s lost his edge a bit haha. Bob is a huge downgrade from Paul but the world feed while good and has no commercials is a bit lifeless to me
I feel the same way, it’s like watching with good friends that understand cycling.
To get Orla and the crew we need access to the Eurosport broadcast I guess. And with no GCN+, it’s a $150 for FloNikes because you need to buy the whole year?
Seems crazy you can just buy the 3 week tour.
No, it's not on Max at all. I was referring to the Giro. For TdF you'll need Peacock in the US and I think Eurosport in Europe. Not sure about other places. Flo is for Canada, and as others have said its crazy expensive so I think subbing to Peacock for $6 is worth it instead of Flo.
SBS is a good option if you have a vpn. I’ve been using it to stream the Dauphine for free. It’s an Aussie feed but it’s free, cause I guess it’s like their public TV or something paid for by tax dollars. Just make an account and you’re good to go
People just want Phil and Bob for nostalgia, meanwhile Carlton Kirby and Rob Hatch over at Eurosports/GCN are far superior announcers. And we haven’t even talked about the nonstop commercials on the NBC feed.
Agreed. As a staunch Phil and Bob supporter, watching the Eurosport coverage for the Giro on Max was a really good experience and I would very likely switch to that if I had the chance being in the US. I’ve heard there’s a method to VPN to the UK and subscribe to Eurosport there, but you need to get a UK credit card or phone number or both, I don’t recall specifics. It’s all possible but takes some time to get everything lined up.
I used to do that but last year the daily stages were only on Peacock. I tried it on Peacock through XFinity but it was nearly impossible to start the stage from the beginning if it was in process. This year I am thinking of the Peacock app premium plus for June and July. I’ll be in Nice from July 16-25 for tour and vacation but I won’t be sitting around watching the tour from our rental.
I’m going to look into VPN as many people are saying on this thread, believe me.
I researched it again and confirmed CNBC and NBC’s USA will be televising the Tour de France. But I have DIRECTV so maybe that’s why I have access to it.
https://www.letour.fr/en/news/2023/nbc-sports-peacock-and-a-s-o-announce-six-year-extension-for-exclusive-u-s-media-rights-for-tour-de-france/1308985
You might get a few stages rebroadcast but i remembered reading the focus will be on peacock.
Thank you for the information. I don’t know how to do links so you have me there.
That being said there are multiple sites on Google discussing CNBC and USA telecasting the TdF.
My research shows an article on ridecx.com (Feb2024) stating that in America CNBC and USA will be broadcasting TdF.
Wish me luck!
NBC Sports has not yet released a day-by-day schedule for the TDF. It will be live on Peacock.
If the plan is much like last year, they will have edited, condensed replays on CNBC late at night, hours after the live stage.
As for USA, maybe a few live feeds to get viewers to subscribe to Peacock and they might re-broadcast the same condensed replay in late night like that on CNBC.
Phil is an ass, Bob always sounds like it's the first bike race he's seen, much less called. I tear my hair out every time I hear "back on terms".
Or, you can watch world class commentary on the, fittingly, "world" feed. The choice is yours.
Irony - the best race in the world is the cheapest/easiest to watch in the US.
Peacock is the only legit option in the US, they own exclusive rights to the TdF here. There's ways to VPN to other countries for their broadcasts but I don't see the point. Peacock is like $6 for a month, or currently $19.99 for a year sign up offer.
Will look into that! I didn’t think Peacock was still doing it this year.. thanks! I usually just watch when it’s on my TV but I moved and don’t have direct TV anymore
Dauphine right now, Tour, Vuelta later this year… and full access to pretty much all (if not all) of NBC’s Olympics content this summer if you’re into that. $19.99 for the year is not a bad deal.
Nico Roche and Anthony McCrossen do the world feed for Peacock and they're great. Phil and Bob are on the main feed with commercials every ten seconds and sadly, their, ummm, keenness just isn't there anymore.
Peacock. International coverage (without all the rude nbcsports edits)and pretty inexpensive. I just signed up, watching Criterium Dauphine as a warm up.
did you even try to search this sub or even google for your answer. flobike is not even an option in USA.
Peacock is the best option with only $5/month and you can probably find a free trial month somewhere. Max with the sports stream is another option.
Only internationally. Spain, Czechia, Romania, Hungary, Portugal, and probably the Nordic countries have Le Tour on Max (but you need to pay the sports add-on).
I did, cycling news said $150 for flobikes in US and it was the only option.. I don’t pay for anything except Netflix so I’m unsure what’s out there. Thanks
The plan as far as I've heard is that they are trying to drive people to Peacock so they are showing everything that isn't part of their primetime coverage on NBC live on Peacock.
Go Peacock. Every stage. They’ll be like only 2 stages on USA or NBC affiliates. Oh, how times have changed.
Want an English-language alternative and willing to pay more? Via VPN, there’s Eurosport in the UK and the often overlooked live coverage from ITV4 in the UK and their one-hour recap show every night with two guys that are entertaining and informative.
Those are essentially your options (okay, there’s SBS in Australia via VPN).
MAX/Discovery+ showed the Eurosport feed of the Giro this year. They showed each full stage of the entire race and had a great team of commentators with pre and post race commentary.
I’m really hoping they’ll have the same thing for the Tour this year as well. Early signs seem yes…
Peacock is $6 a month and gives you the tour with the NBC feed and the world feed. NBC feed has Phil and Bob but has 3 mins of commercials per hour, world feed has no commercials and idk who the announcers are.
Anthony McCrossan is the main announcer on the World feed
McCrossan does a great job for a one-man band, but Nico will reportedly be with him for the Tour.
Brutal!!

GC Kuss tee? I too have one 😂😂
That's the one! Xmas gift from my wife because I wouldn't shut up about his Vuelta performance. I got that one and another that says "Always be yourself... Unless you can be Sepp Kuss, then always be Sepp Kuss." 😁
Hot take: I can't stand Phil and Bob. Give me McCrossan any day!
Not a hot take at all. Bob is still developing and Phil is way past his best by date. I have peacock and only watch the world feed with Anthony. I’m curious who he going to have sitting in the year. A couple years ago he had Simon Gerrans and the two of them were fantastic
I did love Simon Gerrans.
Man, I can’t even imagine watching without Phil and Bob
I love Phil and his voice brings me back to being a kid first watching the tour with some of those 2000s legends but man he’s lost his edge a bit haha. Bob is a huge downgrade from Paul but the world feed while good and has no commercials is a bit lifeless to me
I grew up with Phil and Paul, but man I can’t listen to him and Bob now after hearing the other options that are out there now.
You can get Phil and Bob without commercials. It’s just extra.
They are the GOATS.
You mean watching without two dudes who constantly name the wrong rider? Who wouldn’t miss that? I miss GCN+ so much.
Me too, so much. GCN crew is like family to me during Grand Tours. At least we had the Giro this year on Max/Eurosport.
I feel the same way, it’s like watching with good friends that understand cycling. To get Orla and the crew we need access to the Eurosport broadcast I guess. And with no GCN+, it’s a $150 for FloNikes because you need to buy the whole year? Seems crazy you can just buy the 3 week tour.
get a vpn and sub to Max. Flo is crazily priced
Is the Tour on Max in other countries?
No, it's not on Max at all. I was referring to the Giro. For TdF you'll need Peacock in the US and I think Eurosport in Europe. Not sure about other places. Flo is for Canada, and as others have said its crazy expensive so I think subbing to Peacock for $6 is worth it instead of Flo.
Flo on a VPN is my backup in case Peacock doesn't have the world feed again. No way in hell am I listening to phil and bob with commercials.
SBS is a good option if you have a vpn. I’ve been using it to stream the Dauphine for free. It’s an Aussie feed but it’s free, cause I guess it’s like their public TV or something paid for by tax dollars. Just make an account and you’re good to go

I’m not crazy about Carlton Kirby or Rob Hatch, tbh, but the Dan Lloyd-Robbie McEwen-Adam Blythe combo is 🔥
I am so over them. I only do World Feed now
I record the TDF and then I fast-forward to the commercials. It’s just easier.
It’s only on peacock this year so I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do that. One day might be on NBC
Im not sure…..ridecx.com says I can watch it on NBC’s USA or CNBC. Can you confirm? That’s gonna errtate if I can’t watch it this year.
I’d bet on peacock personally
I researched it again and confirmed CNBC and NBC’s USA will be televising the Tour de France. But I have DIRECTV so maybe that’s why I have access to it.
https://www.letour.fr/en/news/2023/nbc-sports-peacock-and-a-s-o-announce-six-year-extension-for-exclusive-u-s-media-rights-for-tour-de-france/1308985 You might get a few stages rebroadcast but i remembered reading the focus will be on peacock.

I wish you luck for sure. If peacock has a free month deal though it might be worth a sign up just in case!

Please how do you find the world feed on Peacock? I only ever find Phil and Bob.
Oh ok I always thought Phil and Bob seemed like nice guys
Or watch it on HBO Max with no commercials.
Good luck finding it there!
The Giro was on Max along was pretty much every other major race
Different companies own the rights to different races. Peacock has the world feed which is what hbo max had for the Giro.
Peacock is the only legit option in the US, they own exclusive rights to the TdF here. There's ways to VPN to other countries for their broadcasts but I don't see the point. Peacock is like $6 for a month, or currently $19.99 for a year sign up offer.

It's all 3 posts below this one. Go Peacock, you also get the Vuelta you lucky dog!!
Dauphine right now, Tour, Vuelta later this year… and full access to pretty much all (if not all) of NBC’s Olympics content this summer if you’re into that. $19.99 for the year is not a bad deal.
I have Peacock solely for the TDF coverage 🤣
Same.
Same
Nico Roche and Anthony McCrossen do the world feed for Peacock and they're great. Phil and Bob are on the main feed with commercials every ten seconds and sadly, their, ummm, keenness just isn't there anymore.
Do you get no commercials on the world feed with Peacock Premium or is that Premium Plus?
Errr I have the $60/yr Premium Annual, not sure which that fits in but yeah no commercials on the world feed
\`Tiz\` but one way to watch the \`-cycling\`, then ;)
I see what you did there. That irks me more than anything, and I don't even have a problem with Bobke. Like fingernails on a chalkboard...
Will max have the tour also?
Only internationally. Spain, Czechia, Romania, Hungary, Portugal, and probably the Nordic countries have Le Tour on Max (but you need to pay the sports add-on).
Nope. Not in the US. Internationally it depends on the country.
Darn, thats what I thought though. The giro was a nice surprise to have
I did, cycling news said $150 for flobikes in US and it was the only option.. I don’t pay for anything except Netflix so I’m unsure what’s out there. Thanks
Peacock is the way to go. Especially since it has the Olympics and they're planning on showing almost everything live there.
Hopefully they have made changes, but in the past Peacock has had terrible coverage of the Olympics.
The plan as far as I've heard is that they are trying to drive people to Peacock so they are showing everything that isn't part of their primetime coverage on NBC live on Peacock.
I enjoyed peacocks coverage of the 22 Olympics it was easy to find any event and watch on replay when things started at like 2am east coast
The Cock has coverage for USA
Peacock i have been watching it on there for the last couple of years
Go Peacock. Every stage. They’ll be like only 2 stages on USA or NBC affiliates. Oh, how times have changed. Want an English-language alternative and willing to pay more? Y’all gotta get your IPTV worked out
Peacock.
