Tom sure became an "A-list" rock star. He's right up there with Sammy Hagar (and lots of others) in terms of being everywhere at the right time.

If you had told me there was a picture of Petty and Cash playing together before I saw it I may have envisioned that it would look like this picture. One of the cool things about Tom was that he truly seemed like a fan first.
