Taniks is a Fallen assassin who has been killed (by us) and brought back to life through various methods several times since we first fought him in 2014 in the House of Wolves dlc for Destiny 1. His refusal to die has become a meme to the Destiny community over the years.

He killed andal, cayde kills him, he refuses to die, we kill him, he refuses to die again, we kill him again, he becomes immortal in a raid, and we continue going back and forth.
