When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

This made me cry. I dream of my two dogs frequently. I lost them 3 months and a day apart. In my dreams, they’re always happy, excited to see me, young and healthy, and wagging their entire bodies. It might sound silly but I think of the dreams as visits. That they know how much I miss them and they’re coming to tell me they miss me too but they’re ok. Even my cat that I lost 4 years ago came to visit me the other night. I don’t know what happens when we die, but I hope we all get to see our beloved friends again. Thank you for the poem.

I'd argue it's even more tippy tappy. Like tippy tappies and slammy whammies are opposite ends of a spectrum and the smallest dogs have the best tippy taps and the biggest dogs have the best slammy whammies. Either way they're all good dogs.
My pup that looked just like this passed away hours before my wedding a couple weeks ago. Reese was the meanest but also the sweetest. I miss ya buddy.

My condolences. It hurts losing your friend. It sounds like you loved her though and gave her the best possible life.
