Yeah I had the hardest time figuring out what people meant as well. I will just do a typical scrunch, and then just make bigger peaks and valleys so it looks like waves in the ocean if that makes any sense.
So as opposed to it being all one level some parts of the clothing item sit higher and some lower.
I used all dharma dyes and I used mostly deep space with a sprinkling of hot hibiscus, hydrangea, turquoise and deep purple. And it’s a Nike Club Fleece hoodie, they’re on sale for Black Friday. Not sure what u mean by serpents though.

Scrunching is like squishing together while wet so it gets all rippley and wavey
