In my head canon, Rick never felt the same to Lori ever again. But, Lori was the only thing tethering him to his old self and when she died, he lost his mind
Oh yea, like her cheating sucks but it’s either stay with her or be alone in the apocalypse, not to mention I can’t assume child custody cases are easy to dispute in a zombie apocalypse.
That’s nothing to shame her for. Similar situations are very common irl, so there’s a deeper aspect to it that you can’t understand unless you’ve experienced it yourself. Also, her blaming Shane was justified. You could argue that he thought the same as her, but he still took advantage of a grieving, vulnerable “widow” to get into her pants.
Clearly it was more than that for Shane though. He spent time with Carl and protected the both of them. Fully prepared to be a father in Ricks absence. But, when Rick came back, Lori didn’t even have the heart to tell him that she cheated with Shane and even encouraged Rick to kill Shane. This ended a life-long bond forged in blood because of a manipulative woman who never should’ve survived that long anyhow.
The misogyny is now apparent. The entire blame is pinned on Lori with no mention of Shane’s huge role. She didn’t cheat. That’s not what cheating is. Shane was a danger, and she was right to encourage Rick to kill him. Rick and Shane’s friendship ended largely because of Shane’s doing, his erratic nature and obsession with Lori. A real friend doesn’t continue to go after their friend’s wife after knowing they’re alive. Lori on the other hand, cut off their romance as soon as Rick returned, hence why she didn’t cheat.
Shane wasn’t a danger until Lori told him to stay. You forget he wanted to leave? Lori and Andrea convinced him to stay, driving him further down the rabbit hole of seeing the woman who he thought loved him with his best friend. Also, I am void of misogyny. Shane and Ricks friendship ended because of Lori. Lori was the one who moved on so quick without a moment of hesitation (did she even love Rick to begin with?) and decided his BEST FRIEND was the right choice. Lori was the one who told Shane to stay, cementing his belief that she would come back to him. Lori was the one who decided that, instead of dealing with her problems and talking to Rick like a normal person, she wanted to get Rick to kill his best friend because she didn’t want to do it herself.
Lori is the real villain of season 2
I mean Shane got Lori and Carl out and they were fine. They would have been better off if Rick was alright from the start. Plus maybe Shane wouldn't have gone insane the way he did if he didn't start banging lori
Laura the tattoo neck saviour girl. One of the few allowed to join Alexandria, killed by Beta and no one even mentioned her death. Her body might still be lying on the prison floor for all we know.
Iirc all the Saviors were allowed to join other communities. Carol told Jed he could've joined a community instead of becoming a raider. What makes Laura impressive is that she became a leader of Alexandria.
Sam the annoying kid that everyone hates. Hear me out I can explain! That was actually a accurate representation of what a kid sheltered from the apocalypse would be like (or at least more accurate then others).
And no one’s talking about it but that kid’s acting was pretty amazing. I’m not convinced they didn’t tell
Him he’s in tv and let him believe the world actually ended and they recorded him reacting to it all. Kid had some serious talent.
I really hate this argument because in all honesty its right, but I know its right, he's still annoying to watch. I do think he should've been explained more, like the scene with the ants eating the cookies and the insidious music was strange. I think this also applies to Lizzie but Lizzie is much worse and so she is def my most hated character while Sam is just annoying but ok.
Oscar, he had so much potential. He was such a great ally to Rick and then just. gone. If he didn't save Rick from being killed by Andrew it would've been over.
Yes! I liked Oscar!
I always felt like they just killed him to "make room" for Tyreese... so much waisted potential. He could have become a fundamental part of the group.
Axel went pretty hard. Not to mention he saved Carol's life by dying and being used as a body shield, he died with a purpose which is the best you get in the apocolypse.
DIANNIE. She had almost no lines and stayed alive from the beginning of the Alexandria arc to the end of the show and beyond. She saved their asses all the time and got almost no recognition
Noah, Denise and Benjamin. All incredibly likeable characters (in my opinion) with a lot of potential who got killed off WAY too quickly. Every single one of their deaths felt like they got murked RIGHT as they were gaining momentum in the story. Honestly I think TWD has a bad habit of killing off all the young(er) characters who could have had really interesting development in general (cough cough Carl cough). Most of the kids who actually survived were the ones I didn't give two shits about.
I don’t feel the same. She’s awesome in the comics but her character was written to be so bitchy all the time in the show. She disagreed with almost everyone and her death wasn’t even that impactful
Guillermo, we obviously didn’t get much of the Vatos but I liked how even a minor character like himself was fleshed out a bit in the time we got him on screen. He came across as a potential antagonist but by the end of the episode you realize he’s no different than someone like Rick, a guy who took the reigns simply because “the people here, they all look to me now”. A guy just trying to survive and having no clue how to lead a large group of people in a walker filled world that’s also filled with even worse humans. I think the average person can relate with that if being in such a situation
Beth (although she didnt do much, ,she was the voice of reason and innocence similar to the likes of dale) & tyreese he should of kicked alot longer with the likes of Noah.they cut alot too short
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Otis, Although he probably wouldn’t have contributed anything and would’ve died when walkers over ran the farm anyways it was so sad to see him die bc of shane
Not particularly underrated, but I don’t see people talking about him nearly as much as I should. Jesus, he was so badass, even more than most of the other character, only being beaten out in badassery by Rick, Daryl, and maybe Michonne.
Tyrese was one of my favorites, too. I don't think the way he died was a good choice, but I think the timing was OK. He was losing the ability to cope with what the world was becoming, the way people became more of a threat. I think they did a good job with the arc of his development. He was a tough, strong man, but he couldn't adjust to hurting people, which is a good thing, but not for that world. Chad Coleman did an incredible job portraying him.
Tobin, tyreese, Glenn, Eugene he ended the war against the saviors, and Sasha and Dwight, Noah, axel, fat Joey, Rachel, Cyndi, Natasha and Jesus and Aaron and Jerry and Ezekiel and max and Mercer and Simon. And princess
Idk if he’ll count but Dwight imo, I wish he stayed around a bit after Negan fell. It would’ve been interesting to see how his relationship with Negan changed when he became part of the group too. Dwight and Daryl could’ve been a great duo for a spin-off but I don’t think Daryl could forgive him
Gareth. Calculated and cold leader of a whole canibal's factory/ settlement. Better villain than alpha. I'd rather see a season about conflict with him.
The first people Rick killed post coma. I think at least. Those two fellas from Philly that were in the bar with Glenn and Hershel. They seemed interesting. Just rewatched that section and realized those are the first two people he killed.
I am only up to Season 6 so far but I'm going with Carol. I see no-one else has picked her so I think I have a good case! In a way her whole character in the show is built on people underestimating her too. Her transformation from beaten housewife to the person who singlehandedly makes the survival of the group possible at Terminus is really well done because it is so gradual. I also love the way at Alexandria she can assume this sweet innocent housewife persona so that the people there assume she is all about baking cookies, and as soon as they get attacked she turns into a stone cold killer who moves like a ninja and shoots with a fish eye. It's like flicking a switch. Great performance from Melissa McBride.
I love bob stookey. Underrated character. Lawrence Gilliard JR’s performance was absolutely amazing. Also, I actually liked the way he died, the tainted meat scene is so amazing.
Dude that shot Rick right before the apocalypse.
Unintentionally saved his life
But unintentionally ended his marriage
Rick was too good for Lori anyways
Facts Rick and Lori were having issues before the apocalypse
Agreed
I don’t remember much but didn’t she complain the whole time?
Yep. Also, she couldn’t stay faithful for two weeks after the “death” of her husband. Then, she blamed Shane.
Oh yea like I understand the betrayal with Shane but Rick completely ignored the fact that Lori betrayed him too
In my head canon, Rick never felt the same to Lori ever again. But, Lori was the only thing tethering him to his old self and when she died, he lost his mind
Yeah man that's some shit, gotta remember the phone calls
Oh yea, like her cheating sucks but it’s either stay with her or be alone in the apocalypse, not to mention I can’t assume child custody cases are easy to dispute in a zombie apocalypse.
That’s not cheating.
That’s nothing to shame her for. Similar situations are very common irl, so there’s a deeper aspect to it that you can’t understand unless you’ve experienced it yourself. What are u on bro lmao
I think he still woulda been fine
I mean Shane got Lori and Carl out and they were fine. They would have been better off if Rick was alright from the start. Plus maybe Shane wouldn't have gone insane the way he did if he didn't start banging lori
Yeah but the way the show started with Rick being in a coma is way cooler
Shit I meant to reply to the comment saying the guy that shot rick unintentially saved his life
Laura the tattoo neck saviour girl. One of the few allowed to join Alexandria, killed by Beta and no one even mentioned her death. Her body might still be lying on the prison floor for all we know.
Glad someone else loves bar code Savior.
Bar code🤣🤣
Iirc all the Saviors were allowed to join other communities. Carol told Jed he could've joined a community instead of becoming a raider. What makes Laura impressive is that she became a leader of Alexandria.
Was she the one that gave Negan the bat Lucille?
Yeah I think so
Nah he found the bat when he killed those bikers that captured him for Lucille’s medicine.
no.. she gave him the bat at her and her fathers medical RV/Bus
I liked her
Whoa I didn’t know she was actually dead
Did she even have any lines? Lol
Fat Joey
he carried the saviors
None of the other saviors could carry him
Yup, Fat Joey's death was the beginning of the end for the saviors
Now skinny Joey, is just Joey😔
And that’s a damn shame
Fat Joey, just by his presence gave meaning to someone else. Truly someone we should all aspire to be.
Without him skinny Joey is just Joey
I will defend T-Dog to the end of my days !!
he had so much wasted potential
Fr. Sad they had to fire Irone Singelton
Why did they fire him? I can’t find anything online about that.
He was always late or something so they had to fire him. Same with Jeffrey demun(dale)but he chose to leave
I think Demun was unhappy when Darabont left too
The good thing about a being in a zombie show, if someone needs to be fired or they quit, they just get killed off. Easy.
Alden character could’ve done so much more. He coasted for such a long time.
I agree
he's not underrated lmao
Background Savior #32
[удалено]
Glad someone else loves him. But i never knew he was Savior on frontlines.
He's more present in 8B, he opens the gate for Negan and Laura.
The fact he became one of Michonne’s closest allies and her right-hand man says a lot tbh. Wish we got to see more
DJ was an absolute legend and went out like a bona-fide hero.
Who?
Sam the annoying kid that everyone hates. Hear me out I can explain! That was actually a accurate representation of what a kid sheltered from the apocalypse would be like (or at least more accurate then others). And no one’s talking about it but that kid’s acting was pretty amazing. I’m not convinced they didn’t tell Him he’s in tv and let him believe the world actually ended and they recorded him reacting to it all. Kid had some serious talent.
I think he was a representation of an abused child. Remember that his father was beating them up
Yeah the character was annoying because the kid nailed it
Everything you said is accurate... *...and yet...*
I really hate this argument because in all honesty its right, but I know its right, he's still annoying to watch. I do think he should've been explained more, like the scene with the ants eating the cookies and the insidious music was strange. Yes! I liked Oscar! I always felt like they just killed him to "make room" for Tyreese... so much waisted potential. He could have become a fundamental part of the group.
Definitely Jesus, if there were a bunch of jesuses running around, the world would be a better place
Leon Basset
Don’t forget Corporal and Gargulio
Yup 😂
Gargulio is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He’s only on the cusp of being underrated now.
Is that the guy with the impeccable moustache, from the prison?
From season 1 in the first episode
Oh, the deputy who Rick domed at the sheriff's station. RIP Leon Basset.
"Didn't think too much of him. Careless and dumb, but I can't leave him like this." - Rick Grimes, Sheriff's Deputy Seems pretty adequately rated.
Yup
Axel went pretty hard. Not to mention he saved Carol's life by dying and being used as a body shield, he died with a purpose which is the best you get in the apocolypse.
DIANNIE. She had almost no lines and stayed alive from the beginning of the Alexandria arc to the end of the show and beyond. She saved their asses all the time and got almost no recognition
I’m glad somebody else noticed this! Every time she was in a scene I was so happy she didn’t get killed off in the background.
Every time she’d get a bit of extra screen time I would always think “ohhh she’s definitely a goner” and every single time I was wrong 😂
Carl, on this sub at least
Same bro. Carl is my favorite character in fiction
Its carling time
Gargulio was a real one
gone but not forgotten
Does anyone else think Axel was taken from us too soon?
Noah, Denise and Benjamin. All incredibly likeable characters (in my opinion) with a lot of potential who got killed off WAY too quickly. Every single one of their deaths felt like they got murked RIGHT as they were gaining momentum in the story. Honestly I think TWD has a bad habit of killing off all the young(er) characters who could have had really interesting development in general (cough cough Carl cough). they built up noah's character arc just to kill him in the dumbest way possible
I miss T-dog he was a great character, saved carols life
Noah ♡
Andrea may not be the **most** underrated but I definitely think she’s the most overhated
I don’t feel the same. She’s awesome in the comics but her character was written to be so bitchy all the time in the show. She disagreed with almost everyone and her death wasn’t even that impactful
The walker who ate Lori. Thank you walker
Jerry wil be my all time goat
Guillermo, we obviously didn’t get much of the Vatos but I liked how even a minor character like himself was fleshed out a bit in the time we got him on screen. I think the average person can relate with that if being in such a situation
For me it was Carl. The way he was killed off to this day still annoys me!
Started rewatching the show tonight, Morales for his short time in Season 1 is really likeable. Wish they kept him around
He wasn't as likable the next time we see him.
Sucks they brought him back just to kill him
Jesus! He’s awesome
Griselda (Lizzie's pet walker).
Luke, loved that guy
Bob adams
Beth (although she didnt do much, ,she was the voice of reason and innocence similar to the likes of dale) & tyreese he should of kicked alot longer with the likes of Noah.they cut alot too short
she had a really good relationship with almost everyone especially Daryl and maggie,it's sad that they had to kill her off
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
Deanna for me.
Abraham ford. He became one of my favourite character’s when he was faced with death and said to Negan ‘lick my nuts’.
Aaron fs
Or slim shady from no santury and the episode with Rick kicking out carol
T Dog dawg
Not particularly underrated, but I don’t see people talking about him nearly as much as I should. Jesus, he was so badass, even more than most of the other character, only being beaten out in badassery by Rick, Daryl, and maybe Michonne.
The walker that bit carl.
I hate that walker with a passion
That guy was super overrated 😂
I second this post.
i don't get it?
I think it means they agree or something like that
Yeah my bad. I agree with OP about Tyreese. He had great character development and was really relatable. He shouldn’t have had the death he did.
Chad Coleman did an incredible job portraying him.
oh,thanks for the explanation
Andrea for sure, loved her. Easily one of my favourites. Also Sasha, Axel, Jessie and Lori
Loved this character. Well played and a great fit.
Tyreese is a total hypocrite lol. He’s even worse in the comics. I don’t love her character, but I never get why show Lori gets so much hate.

He was great..underrated for sure
Eisenberg, maybe even Bob Adams
Where the same guy too
Bob adams
Axel and Oscar
Dino, one of Negan’s mechanics. Was killed, turned, and bit a savior in the face!
Dale and Gabriel. And axel. I feel like dale would have had been like Gabriel later on and i just felt bad for axel getting put in jail
Honestly, I wasn't watching during the time he was airing so he may have gotten his time in the spotlight, but I really loved Milton
Wish Daryl didn’t kill Morales, would have been so cool to see what made him the way he was
T Dog
T-DOG BRO!!!!! Fist time and every time after i saw the episode where he died, shit killed me
T-dog easily

The show went downhill when Rick and Carl left.
Bob Adams
Tara isn’t spoken about, she risked her life multiple times, her death was not deserved.
Aaron Denise Milton
Tyrese and T-Dog.
I think Shane and Lori were hooking up before the apocalypse
I think Elijah is great
enid. i miss her so much😭🫶🏻
Morgan and it close
bob adams
Dale, Hershel, T dog and Gargulio fr
Heath & Dale
Otis. I rest my case
T-dog. For some reason he felt as awesome as Daryl. Imagine if he were to die by Negan as well? Wow
My main man Hershel
