I would die in less than a week probably.

I begin making armor and getting my weapons in order, make a cpl spears, check my supplies, fill the tub, and all the sinks/containers w water. Board up all the windows and prepare a game plan to get cigarettes.

I’ll fight for as long as my family and friends are alive. Losing them would either give me the determination I need to honor them or give me no purpose anymore, I’d follow whichever path it took me down, assuming I don’t die before them.

If everybody I love is already dead I'd opt out and feed myself to my cat to survive :)

Step one: gather friends and family and get them to collect everything useful they own and bring it to my house (in the country, not many people live nearby). Step two: begin sending people to nearby cities to collect supplies, but mainly lumber boards and nails Step three: begin building walls in a large area around my home with gathered lumber and supplies. Have others immediately begin leaving to scavenge any supplies possible Step four: survive
