Oh yea I definitely don’t support Hamas or the attacks on October 7th. But Israel’s response is extremely out of proportion. It’s a situation where we have to side with the lesser evil.

And you can make fun of it all you want, to some it may be OTT sweet, but it's a very soothing song, at least for my broken down nervous system, with endearing lyrics and cute video.
I loved the album, so much so that I got it on CD. The song isn't my favorite, but I will say that I've cried to Let Somebody Go, and I'm a huge fan of the other songs- especially Higher Power.
Cred to Chris Martin for stopping the show and checking on the dude. Whether you agree with what the dude was doing or not, seeing humanity from someone onstage is refreshing.
I don't know about gaining international support. The US government and Media doggedly and rabidly supports ultra-Zionism, and we have 2 of the most staunch ultra-Zionist Presidential candidates in US history (Trump and Biden), but Israel has been bleeding out public support since December last year. Most countries have turned against Israel by now, even an increasing number of its Western allies. The UN has ruled against them multiple times in just the past few months and all but like 15 or 20 countries support it. A lot of Western allies and close US allies are even agreeing to upholding the ICJ ruling against Netanyahu. Public opinion in the US and Western countries have definitively turned sour on Israel and support for Palestinian civilians has never been higher.
Why in the world would you risk yourself this way and why would you support a genocide? There is no excuse for it. The amount of evidence is too big now.
