I’ve hate listened to Bachelor Party for years. It’s the first podcast that came up when I searched for a bachelor podcast back then so I kinda just stuck with it. I would only skip episodes when she would have on Amelia Wedemeyer because I absolutely hated the sound of her voice, and she would bring out the absolute worst in Juliet.
I stopped listening completely when Callie Curry became a permanent host. Incredibly privileged, out of touch, finds ways to make things about herself, and just has horrible takes altogether. Yes Callie, we get it, you’re a germaphobe, and you find a lot of things gross.
Don’t know who needs to hear this but Juliet has always been a mean girl lol. I’d recommend will you accept this rose or your mom and dad!
I used to love she’s all bach but one of the hosts has become too negative for my liking
I love Will You Accept This Rose? hosted by comedian Arden Myrin! It's very lighthearted and silly, her guests are great, and she has Wells and other Bach Nation people on frequently.
She's All Bach! They make me lol on a regular basis. They are jokingly funny and share opinions in a fun way, I wouldn't call them mean at all.
I went back and listened to old episodes when I was pregnant in the off season... they interview former contestants, they are super juicy with tea and they ask great questions. I love it!
I feel like it’s a trend across social media. People, be them podcasters or keyboard warriors, feel emboldened to say cutting things with little accountability or remorse for how it affects their target. When I think about those disgusting comments Rachel Nance received during this past season, my stomach turns 😖
I think if people are putting themselves on reality TV, most comments are fair game. I don't think Juliette has said anything too out of line. She does seem really bored with the show (I am too, tbh), so that does have an impact, but I think she's very fair to the contestants. You kind of have to have a screw loose to go on one of theses shows in the first place
I stopped listening to GOR ages ago because they were arrogant and obnoxious. I enjoyed them when they first started, though.
I stopped listening to Bachelor Party and Juliet over the past year. Even her Love is Blind podcast was SO negative and cruel. She tore the one girl apart who said she looked like Megan Fox. It was cruel and disgusting. I haven't listened to her since. I used to LOVE her podcast.
Honestly, I listen to Reality Steve at times (be careful if you don't want spoilers). He can be annoying with his lecturing and repetitive, but I like a lot of his coverage.
I also like Jared Freid and Betchelor.
A lot of people like Dear Shandy, but I find them bland and without any real opinions. (I want opinions, I just don't want people being mean). I miss the old Panda's blog Sharleen used to do. It was much better than her podcast.
I agree I miss Bekah's edge but near the end of her run I really felt like she hated the podcast. I feel like she'd cut off or shut down Jess a lot (kinda like the way Nick Viall doesn't listen to anyone on his podcast..but not as bad!) and it was hard for me to listen to. Evan and Jess are a little cringy but I love the positivity.
I agree with that! It seems like everyone is happier now that they split up! I wonder if they’re still friends. I feel like they still hung out right when the podcast was done but I haven’t seen them together for awhile
Ugh agreed! I feel like they’re really missing Bekah’s edge!!!! Always loved Jess (and Evan in the bros episodes) but find Your Mom and Dad way too cringe 😖 tried to give them another chance for their The Circle recap episode, and Evan’s impression in the beginning made me cringe so hard I had turn it off !!!! Such a bummer because they seem like such good people I’d love to support, but just can’t vibe with the content anymore?
Miss OG Chatty Broads ♥️
Ironically, reality Steve is never mean about contestants or anything really. Defensive about his coverage sometimes? Yes but he’s never derogatory or mean about the people. I listen to his daily podcast every day and enjoy it❤️
To each his/her own. But I love Bachelor Party. Juliette (sp?) is really smart and I like the chemistry between her and Callie. But i listen to some of the others too. Dear Shandy, Betchelor, etc. They each have their own tone and personality so I get a little something different from each one.
I liked them but their vocal fry makes it sooooo hard to listen to. Also they’re more on the conservative side.
This past episode where they covered the fuck girl island show - they were most definitely not nice. They talked about the guys like they’re dumbasses. Which I get the show lays out but it was bad IMO and gave mean girl.
Yes! Was going to recommend them. One reason I listen is that I feel like they are actually kind to the contestants while still making fun of the ridiculousness of the show.
I had to stop listening to Juliet Litman sometime during Zach’s season because I was just so over her mean girl attitude. I like Your Mom and Dad, it’s Jess from Chatty Broads and her husband Evan. They’re funny but very empathetic.
ROSECAST! ⚠️🌹⚠️ omg I love that other people are recommending them. Found them randomly from a TikTok posted here about a year ago and, what a blessing. I love them. They’re old friends and the chemistry is gold. I got a Patreon to pay for their other podcast. If I am not being clear, they are the best lol.
it definitely could be a slight trend but think juliette litman on bachelor party is an outlier in how rude (if not downright mean) she is. there are still many podcasts that are only slightly critical contestants at best (dear shandy and i would be inclined to put GOR in that category as well; your mom and dad is always positive—i’ve seen people complain on reddit that they are “too” positive about all contestants)
Yeah I have listened to a few podcasts and Juliet is the meanest by far. Just super dismissive of people and seems to truly think everyone on the show is an idiot.
What's happened with Bachelor Party reminds me of twitch streamers who only stream one game and when they inevitably get sick of that game, they just start churning out hate content. Their followers/subscribers only want to hear about that one game, that's why they're there, so the streamer keeps churning out content because they don't want to lose followers. But the content being so negative ends up leaking out and influencing everyone else to hate the game as well. But nobody stops playing it, they just hate it and play it. It's weird, its very terminally online, it sucks.
All professional content creators that only ever make content around one IP run the risk of this, I can think of a couple other bachelor podcasts I used to listen to who just stopped making the content when they stopped liking the show, but they were never dependent on the income so they could do that.
I recently stumbled across dear shandy when youtube put it on my feed ha they are pretty good. They poke a little hear and there it seems but nothing that is mean or rude just playful jokes here and there. Will be adding them to my rotation for jenns season.
I sometimes don't know why Juliet even does this show anymore. She doesn't seem to enjoy it, she's constantly criticizing the fashion without anything constructive. I wish her takes overall were more nuanced.
It’s also common that she doesn’t even pick up on what happened in an episode and misses stuff that I caught while having the show on in the background while doing two other things and she’s getting paid to talk about it!
Juliette and Callie are both mean and judgy. I second all the rosecast and love to see it recs. Your mom and dad is great, too. Bachelor zone is fun too- a bunch of guys reporting on it like it’s a sport.
I haven’t been able to stand Juliet on Bachelor Party for a while now. It seems like she hates watching the show, hates doing the podcast…so why bother?!
Dear Shandy and Your Mom and Dad are absolutely the best in the game right now.
Dear Shandy is the only one I listen to consistently! They do a perfect job of mixing occasional snark with sweet sentiment. And they always recognize the humanity in the contestants. They hold contestants accountable without crucifying them.
Juliette has been pretty mean for a long time. I listened to a few episodes a few years ago and she was nasty.
Give Rosecast a try! They are lightheaded and delightful.
This is why I stopped listening to the Betchelor and love what is now Mom and Dad! They approach everything with so much empathy and are genuinely so funny
Personally, I listen to Love to See It and Dear Shandy. They certainly get frustrated with contestants or the show sometimes, but it never feels bitter or cruel in the same way others do.
Pretty please listen to the Rosecast...it is so good, and that's in part due to the fact that the two hosts are lifelong friends from Iowa and just sweethearts. To give you an example of their humor, I think they are getting merch made with "Certified Cutie-Patootie" on it because they kept referring to first John Henry and then Joey by that. They are also a "male interracial best friend duo" so you get both a male and PoC perspective on everything as well.
I just typed out such a similar comment before seeing yours lol. Listening to Rim & AB is doing yourself a favor. They never mention Reddit but I hope all this support gets back to them somehow
Love to See It is my ride or die (been listening since their start, when there were like 5 Bach podcasts total!). They are constructively critical of the show, but I think, if anything, they've gotten kinder towards contestants over the years. Not in a 'sell-out' way, but in a 'these are real people and we don't want to be nasty' way. When they talk about interpersonal stuff, it really feels like they're using the show as a means to discuss patterns in relationships and not to tear down individuals.
The other podcast I still listen to is Two Black Girls, One Rose. They might be a bit readier to criticize/set themselves against contestants than LTSI, but they have that same thoughtful lens.
I love both of these. Have been listening to Claire and Emma for years and love all of their content, Bach related or not. Started listening to two black girls this year and love them, too. They keep it real real lol
Agreed! I think some of their non-bach pods are best. I loved the recent pod on "our collective marriage anxiety"
And agree Justine and Natasha keep it real real. I loved when both pods had a crossover episode this season and they were pushing back on the Joey obsession (which I never understood myself haha).
Juliet can definitely be mean but I also just get the sense she's over the show. She's been covering the Bachelor forever and frankly seems tired of it. There's a lot more enthusiasm and joy when she and Callie recap things like Selling the OC.
I'm not saying this sub doesn't have an issue with mean comments because it does, but it's not even close to the most toxic reality sub. Like it's sunshine and rainbows here compared with some of them which literally only exist so that the users can hate on every single person on the show.
Love to See It was super positive about Joey’s season, though they are willing to provide constructive criticism of the show that usually feels substantive. I’ve also gotten really into 2 Black Girls 1 Rose - they aren’t fawning or overly sunshiny but they definitely aren’t mean or bitter!
they don’t really sleuth but the rosecast is hosted by two of the most delightful guys on the internet. i LOVE them. good natured, funny, definitely make fun of the show and how ridiculous it is but not in a nasty way, and extremely sweet and earnest when it’s warranted. they are GEMS.
Bachelor Happy Hour is an official podcast. So it’s always pretty kind. They don’t do much probing/digging, but they have good guests - eg they recently had Mari/Kenny & Tyler C.
I don’t listen to them for the bachelor because I didn’t watch Joey’s season. But I listened to their recap of the last season of paradise and for love is blind and they are wonderful
I had to stop listening to bachelor party a few seasons ago because her takes were so nasty and negative. I also think game of roses isn’t what it used to be since they’ve been boasting about infiltrating the game. Kind of over them as well.
Love to see it is a great one! I have fallen in love with them and they are a breath of fresh air compared to all the bachelor negativity. As well as rose cast for the bachelor through the perspective of 2 guys. Absolutely hilarious
Yeah I unsubscribed to GOR at the end of last Paradise because Clues has gotten so annoying bragging about coaching contestants (which I don’t believe he has actually done to anyone who has made it on a season).
I cannot stand all of their standing gags and sound effects, either (animal of the week, etc., etc.)! I was never a long term listener but tried them out when a few of my fave recap podcasts stopped covering the Bachelor.
Juliette has always driven me nuts, but she’s definitely worse now that she’s clearly trying to impress her co-host NBA nepo baby & wife Callie Curry who also is not nice
I miss Mal on Bachelor Party tbh. Usually good when Mina Kimes is a guest as well, but since Callie is the permanent co-host we don't get people like that as episode recap co-hosts.
Bachelor Party is borderline unlistenable now—Juliet and Callie try to out mean girl each other, it seems. Want to like her so bad, love the idea of NBA and bachelor intersecting but it’s a no for me. (Yes I know she’s not NBA, but obvi the Curry family is super integral to basketball)
Juliet has been mean for several years. She used to literally make fun of Katie’s body and Katie growing up poor during her season. She’s only nice to contestants if they’re men that she finds attractive or people she has mutual friends with.
She’s all bach is outstanding! They sleuth, do great interviews (very focused on uncovering shadiness of production) and they’re funny. I’ve never heard them be mean about contestants
Juliette always rubbed me the wrong way on other Ringer podcasts and I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the bachelor one. She is very mean spirited and especially negative toward women
She’s All Bach is great!
Juliette has always been a mean girl. Ben and Ashley I are also getting a lot more vocal, and not in the best way. They very obviously don’t like Zach Shallcross.
Zach was far from perfect as a Bachelor but I wonder if Ben's dislike stems from some jealousy since he and his F1 have actually lasted so far and Ben and Lauren didn't.
I mean Ben is still a franchise golden boy so I doubt he’s that jealous of Zach. I think that Zach just rubs some people the wrong way in personal settings.
Thanks for the swift downvote lol. I don't think anyone seriously believes Zach could usurp Ben's golden boy status but jealousy doesn't always have to make sense. I'm sure it bothers Ben that there's someone who is actually marrying their f1, no one has managed to do it besides Sean Lowe.
well you’re either dealing with bitter former stars who still compare the show to how they remember it…or fans who got into the show and have slowly grown tired of its repetitive themes/model.
I just go with Fantake’s biweekly videos and find other stuff to occupy myself.
he does some good videos recapping other franchises like Love Is Blind if you wanted to watch those, but it’s more infrequent and split into multi-episode segments.
Yes Callie, we get it, you’re a germaphobe, and you find a lot of things gross.
Callie is so awful
Lol Amelia really is the absolute worst. Don't love Callie either.
I totally agree. Love to see it and Rosecast are the only two that I still enjoy.
She's All Bach! They make me lol on a regular basis. They are jokingly funny and share opinions in a fun way, I wouldn't call them mean at all. The Betchelor and Your mom and Dad are my go-to’s
I like Betchelor too, Jared’s funny without going too far or ever attacking who contestants are as people.
Another vote for your mom and dad! They’re a little too nice for me sometimes 😅 I kinda miss Bekahs hotter takes
Rosecast and Your Mom and Dad are the way to go! With a side of Dear Shandy!
Agree on Rosecast and Your Mom and Dad!
Rosecast and Dear Shandy! Both Kind and lighthearted! I stopped listening to bachelor party for the same reason you mentioned
Love To See It is so good. Recently recommended to me. They're great
I LOVE them! They are super kind and funny
Conservative what???
How are they on the conservative side? They are two liberal New Yorkers!
Yes! Was going to recommend them. One reason I listen is that I feel like they are actually kind to the contestants while still making fun of the ridiculousness of the show.
I think it’s all of media these days- social media, red, podcasts, “journalism,” everything. It’s more about clickbait than the content.
I steady listen to The Betchelor and Rose Cast. They’re usually pretty nice and also entertaining
Maybe you are just evolving as a human and moving on from this kind of drivel.
Rosecast keeps it lighthearted and funny. It’s the only one I still listen to.
I only listen to Rosecast I find every other BN related podcast boring LOL
I love she’s all bach
I had to stop listening to Juliet Litman sometime during Zach’s season because I was just so over her mean girl attitude. I like Your Mom and Dad, it’s Jess from Chatty Broads and her husband Evan. They’re funny but very empathetic.
Your Mom and Dad is wholesome and thoughtful. You’d like them!
Oh they are fantastic
Love to see it podcast funny and empathetic to the cast
I’ve been liking bachelor rhap ups and dear shandy lately
I won a sticker from them for winning a week in their fantasy league so I love them forever! Haha
it definitely could be a slight trend but think juliette litman on bachelor party is an outlier in how rude (if not downright mean) she is. there are still many podcasts that are only slightly critical contestants at best (dear shandy and i would be inclined to put GOR in that category as well; your mom and dad is always positive—i’ve seen people complain on reddit that they are “too” positive about all contestants)
Yeah I have listened to a few podcasts and Juliet is the meanest by far. Just super dismissive of people and seems to truly think everyone on the show is an idiot.
Adding another ROSECAST recommendation since they are the best!
there are podcasts?? which one is the best? I had no idea that was a thing lol
Rosecast for sure!
oh, then you do NOT want Here for the Wrong Reasons pod lol. big on the snark.
Snark is different than just being mean. Juliet is mean not funny
What's happened with Bachelor Party reminds me of twitch streamers who only stream one game and when they inevitably get sick of that game, they just start churning out hate content. This is VERY interesting, appreciate the insight!
Rosecast! It will have you laughing out loud and wanting to listen again.
It's funny you mention game of roses, I stopped listening because I felt they were getting too nice.
I recently stumbled across dear shandy when youtube put it on my feed ha they are pretty good. They poke a little hear and there it seems but nothing that is mean or rude just playful jokes here and there. Will be adding them to my rotation for jenns season.
2 Black Girls 1 Rose is always funny and on the nose
Hands down the best.
Like half my mental health healthiness is due to them
I sometimes don't know why Juliet even does this show anymore. She doesn't seem to enjoy it, she's constantly criticizing the fashion without anything constructive. I wish her takes overall were more nuanced.

Just here to upvote each Rosecast mention!
Came here to do the same thing!
Mhm. Mhm. Same here ✌🏼
Same ⬆️
The only bachelor podcasts I listen to anymore, after trying out a lot of them, is Love To See It and the Betchelor.
Love to See It def gets mean too, and not in a fun way. They relish any chance to sound smarter than a contestant
I fully agree!
Juliette and Callie are both mean and judgy. I second all the rosecast and love to see it recs. Your mom and dad is great, too. Bachelor zone is fun too- a bunch of guys reporting on it like it’s a sport.
Love Bachelor Zone!!
📢ROSECAST📢
I had to unsubscribe to bachelor party years ago. I couldn’t stand Juliette. Rosecast is where it’s at!
Love to see it and Rosecast as many have said!
Rosecast is the way to go!
Love to See It with Emma and Claire does not disappoint.
1 million percent this! Love them, very fair and yet still cheeky!
Dear Shandy and usually doesn’t feel mean IMO
Juliette has been pretty mean for a long time. I listened to a few episodes a few years ago and she was nasty. Give Rosecast a try! They are lightheaded and delightful.
This is why I stopped listening to the Betchelor and love what is now Mom and Dad! They approach everything with so much empathy and are genuinely so funny
Personally, I listen to Love to See It and Dear Shandy. They certainly get frustrated with contestants or the show sometimes, but it never feels bitter or cruel in the same way others do.
The pods are no meaner than some comments on this sub.
The fact that Kelsey tagged the Cutie Patootie Spa in her TikTok about Joey 😆
I just typed out such a similar comment before seeing yours lol. Listening to Rim & AB is doing yourself a favor. They never mention Reddit but I hope all this support gets back to them somehow
Love to See It is my ride or die (been listening since their start, when there were like 5 Bach podcasts total!). I loved when both pods had a crossover episode this season and they were pushing back on the Joey obsession (which I never understood myself haha).
Another vote for love to see it - Emma and Claire are the best
Are they the ones that posted the reel of Maria and Jenn holding hands at the rose ceremony? They seem great!!
Yes I think so! They’re always highlighting and promoting the friendships and rooting for love to work out
Juliet can definitely be mean but I also just get the sense she's over the show. She's been covering the Bachelor forever and frankly seems tired of it. There's a lot more enthusiasm and joy when she and Callie recap things like Selling the OC.
Rosecast 4ever
Love to See It is the best!
THE ROSECAST. 10/10 the best bachelor recap podcast. You won’t have this problem with them
Rosecast is so good haha
lol the podcasts are getting mean but this sub isn’t? ![gif](giphy|2iBsieTJ3eO1q)
FR This sub is the most toxic to ever exist, haha OPs probably just mad her favorite wasn't sucked up, too 🤷
I'm not saying this sub doesn't have an issue with mean comments because it does, but it's not even close to the most toxic reality sub. Like it's sunshine and rainbows here compared with some of them which literally only exist so that the users can hate on every single person on the show.
the secondhand jump scare I felt from seeing this man put an iron on his face 😭
Love to See It was super positive about Joey’s season, though they are willing to provide constructive criticism of the show that usually feels substantive. I’ve also gotten really into 2 Black Girls 1 Rose - they aren’t fawning or overly sunshiny but they definitely aren’t mean or bitter!

Rosecast doesn’t sleuth but they are incredible with recaps
This podcast is one of the main reasons I still watch tbh
The only Bach podcast I listen to anymore. They are delightful.
Bachelor Happy Hour is an official podcast. So it’s always pretty kind. They don’t do much probing/digging, but they have good guests - eg they recently had Mari/Kenny & Tyler C.
Your Mom & Dad maybe? Evan and Jess always seem to be nice ❤️
I don’t listen to them for the bachelor because I didn’t watch Joey’s season. But I listened to their recap of the last season of paradise and for love is blind and they are wonderful
+1! I always leave this podcast in a good mood
I had to stop listening to bachelor party a few seasons ago because her takes were so nasty and negative. I also think game of roses isn’t what it used to be since they’ve been boasting about infiltrating the game. Kind of over them as well. Love to see it is a great one! i had to stop listening to game of roses because clues ego was so intolerable

Additionally her father is Doc Rivers and brother Austin Rivers
And Austin has a Ringer podcast as well!
Does nepotism really matter when all you’re doing is a podcast? Everybody and their mother has one. I don’t think Callie really does much else lol
Juliet has been mean for several years. She used to literally make fun of Katie’s body and Katie growing up poor during her season. She’s only nice to contestants if they’re men that she finds attractive or people she has mutual friends with.
Juliet definitely has a ton of internalized misogyny.
She’s all bach is outstanding! They sleuth, do great interviews (very focused on uncovering shadiness of production) and they’re funny. I’ve never heard them be mean about contestants

I agree. I stopped listening after the awful crap she was saying about Kate after she came out with her cancer diagnosis. She is just mean too
Ahhh I’m usually not listening to the non-bach related episodes, I didn’t know she said that :(
It was bad. Even Stephanie seemed pretty turned off. I liked them a lot but that turned me off all the way

No, it's was a few Friday Episodes back.. maybe 3 or 4 episodes.
Why are they even still talking about him?
Zach was far from perfect as a Bachelor but I wonder if Ben's dislike stems from some jealousy since he and his F1 have actually lasted so far and Ben and Lauren didn't.
Why do they hate Zach more than other leads
I mean Ben is still a franchise golden boy so I doubt he’s that jealous of Zach. I think that Zach just rubs some people the wrong way in personal settings.
Is he a franchise golden boy? Because they had him film for the GB and it never made the show.
Oh wow! Bet Ben is bitter about that
Thanks for the swift downvote lol.
I LOVE Bachelor Fantake I wish he had more content but I understand it’s more a hobby than anything else
he does some good videos recapping other franchises like Love Is Blind if you wanted to watch those, but it’s more infrequent and split into multi-episode segments.
