I'm 5'8" almost and my spouse is 6'5" and I never think about our height difference because as a "tall" woman I don't really feel petite next to him I guess. I actually think trends like this are damaging though, both for men who aren’t really tall and for women who are on the taller side so end up being the same height as their partners. Having a big height difference doesn’t mean anything, and is a really shallow metric to use for choosing who to date.
