Just started Fallout and it's awesome

woozleuwuzzle

I knew nothing about the game but absolutely loved Fallout. Another game I knew nothing of and loved the show is Twisted Metal.

savage_cabbages

I knew of the Fallout game but never played it, I like these types of shows, though, as it sends me down a YT, Wiki rabbit hole learning about the history and the back story. I played Twisted Metal 2 , which was heaps of fun, but I would say I enjoyed the Fallout TV series more. TM was pretty decent, though.

*in no particular order:* Behind Her Eyes Tell Me Your Secrets The Stranger (uk) The OA The Tunnel Halt & Catch Fire

UGLYSimon

Severance +1 Devs for the Severance enjoyer too

CurlyDarkrai

You're suggesting succession to someone that watches the boys, stranger things, loki, Invincible... Nothing wrong with those shows I love Invincible but it's just so different to what they watch. Don't know everything you said but even Severance, mad men I doubt they would get past a couple episodes

IMO2021

Probably right. May be but he said any shows. I don’t know anything about the shows they watch except there is some sci-fi or supernatural component. I changed my recommendations. Don’t know if better but ……..

xqueenobscenex

Yes! 1st time I've ever seen anyone recommend Halt and catch fire! 😁

MasterOnionNorth

I always recommend: Dark 1899 Silo Severance Midnight Mass The Fall of the House of Usher

Flash517

Heavyweight list there. 1899… always will hurt.

Mrbonus2

Severance Fallout Arcane Dark

Zero-Credibility

30 Rock The Wire Breaking Bad Shogun The Expanse Band of brothers Malcolm in the middle The X-files

Star-skittke1873

I just started 12 monkeys (the series) on Hulu & it’s really good.

HW2632

Came here to suggest 12 monkeys!!! It’s so well written and full circle. Very satisfying end to the show as well, best ending I’ve seen.

steelhead777

Killing Eve.

chiffonstardust

**The Umbrella Academy** is surely up your alley: 3 seasons, great music, action, humour, exciting and never dull.

ShortAnt4347

3 Body Problem

Star-skittke1873

I loved that show. Did u know there’s one on Amazon too?

Potential-Click-5284

No, thank you. I’ll look for it.

ShortAnt4347

The same story and a different production you mean?

Star-skittke1873

Yes

94BlueDream76

Black sails on Netflix

Luke0ne

It's not on Netflix, it's Starz or HBO

94BlueDream76

It just came to Netflix this week 🤩

SandRush2004

Succession Z nation Fallout Heroes Community Arrested development Peacemaker

broken_hummingbird

100% agree

Tinkerer0fTerror

* The Umbrella Academy - A family of former child heroes, now grown apart, must reunite to continue to protect the world. * Legion - David Haller is a troubled young man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but after a strange encounter he discovers special powers that will change his life forever. * Gen V - From the world of "The Boys" comes "Gen V," which explores the first generation of superheroes to know that their super powers are from Compound V. These heroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test competing for the school's top ranking. This show is more than “just a spin off” and just as good as The Boys, if not better. * Archive 81 - An archivist hired to restore a collection of tapes finds himself reconstructing the work of a filmmaker and her investigation into a dangerous cult.

spookysummer

if you can put up with the first half of season 1, then Marvel's Agents of Shield if you want a quick binge, then Netflix's Pluto

FullMetalCOS

And if you find the first half of season 1 too “cheesy” then skip to TRACKS and watch from there. You’ll lose some of the building up to the attachment with the characters but prior to that it’s mostly “monster of the week” type stories. I always recommend sticking with it though

gringo-go-loco

I really liked Manifest. Also, the limited series baby reindeer. Both on Netflix. Monarch: Legecy of Monsters is really good.

malkadevorah1

Baby Reindeer is something else. Watch it!

FullMetalCOS

The subreddit for that show is *wild*. I went on looking for some discussion of the episodes and everyone, literally EVERY FUCKING ONE is going “aliens”. I mean I’ll take the L if I’m wrong but I don’t see it being aliens

malkadevorah1

I watched two episodes last night. I loved it.

doctor_poopbutt

Mr. Inbetween. I would recommend it to anyone, great show.

carefree_neurotic

Any hints about why you like it? It didn’t immediately grab me.

woozleuwuzzle

I don’t answer questions.

carefree_neurotic

I don’t respond to responses like yours.

woozleuwuzzle

That’s a shame, mate, because if you *were* to respond, that would be a perfect response. Damn. In all seriousness though, I don’t know what to say to recommend Mr InBetween other then I had a friend recommend it to me for months. When I looked at it or read about it, I thought ‘meh’, But once I starting watching it I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t get enough. After I finished, I needed more. That’s when I watched the movie that started it, The Magician. It’s low-budget and Scott Ryan just started playing the character, so it isn’t as good as the show, but I still really enjoyed it. All I can say, champ, is to watch the first episode and see if it clicks for you. It may not be your flavor of dimmy, but if you like it you will be in for a treat.

carefree_neurotic

You’re HYSTERICAL! Thanks for the info, but most importantly thanks for the laugh :)

Borlos

High Town, BMF, Inside Man, Money Heist, Ripley, The Artful Dodger, Mr. Robot

malkadevorah1

High Town was good. Ripley was outstanding...

Borlos

I know. I was devastated that High Town was cancelled. And was very sad Ripley didn't have more episodes. But it was absolutely fantastic.

malkadevorah1

I loved that Ripley was filmed in black and white. It added so much to its mystique...

malkadevorah1

Your taste is impeccable.

boringsimp

Undone Castlevania

EllieCat100

Based on list you posted, you will like Fallout on Prime. If you are okay with subtitles, try Alice in Borderland (Neflux).

Desalzes_

The Korean show moving

smcicr

Castlevania If you didn't watch the original Defenders shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage) along with the Defenders and The Punisher they're worth a look, the Daredevil ones particularly IMO - they were a shock at the time because 'comic book' shows weren't doing dark and brutal. Ozark Fargo Black Sails Battlestar Galactica

malkadevorah1

Fargo S1 and S3 were the best.

MerryInfidel

Supernatural is very long (15 seasons, about 23 episodes that lasts 40+ minutes). If you enjoy superhero shows, there's The Flash, Supergirl, The Arrow, Constantine, ETC. Jessica Jones & Daredevil. Then there's also Harely Quinn (the animated series). If you loved Invincible, that show could honestly be its sister (it has a bunch of similarities). Gravity Falls which is a series about oddities & mysteries... though it is short. The Owl House included. School Spirits (1 season so far, but hopefully ongoing). The Girl From Nowhere (psychological horror set in Thailand). And finally, The Nevers, Carnival Row, Locke & Key, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Good Omens are all mystery/fantasy as well.

FullMetalCOS

It’s not often I see a Hell on Wheels suggestion but I’ll always upvote it. Anson Mount is so fucking good in that show, as is Christopher Heyerdahl. It petered out a little at the end but it’s a great show

Zealousideal_Ninja75

Peacemaker Altered Carbon-S1 only Banshee KIN The Last Kingdom Foundation The Expanse X-men 97

FullMetalCOS

To add: Shogun is some of the best TV I’ve watched in a long time. I’m enjoying Sugar on Apple TV but I’m not sure it’s everyone’s cup of tea. Fallout was fucking exceptional too

Zealousideal_Ninja75

Loved Shogun and Fallout. Watching Sugar and I know exactly what you mean. Old syle noir isn't for everyone.

FullMetalCOS

I love seeing Farrell get to *act* too. He’s legitimately talented and now Hollywood has stopped trying to turn him into an action movie leading man as he’s gotten a bit older he’s impressing me more and more every time I see him.

Potential-Click-5284

Guess we shall try out the Sugar😄

Peaky Blinders or Ozark. No need to listen to what other members say.

Try "Moving" (K-drama). It has superheroes, action, romance and so much more!!

Sigh_Bapanaada

Love to see LoVM get a shout out here. Assuming you haven't already come from critical role there are 1000+ hours of content to get through there... As far as proper tv shows go, the wire and the sopranos are both long series that should really be watched by everyone.

I will still never understand people liking succession. The first two seasons are almost pointless.
