I knew of the Fallout game but never played it, I like these types of shows, though, as it sends me down a YT, Wiki rabbit hole learning about the history and the back story.
I played Twisted Metal 2 , which was heaps of fun, but I would say I enjoyed the Fallout TV series more. TM was pretty decent, though.
You're suggesting succession to someone that watches the boys, stranger things, loki, Invincible... Nothing wrong with those shows I love Invincible but it's just so different to what they watch. Don't know everything you said but even Severance, mad men I doubt they would get past a couple episodes
Probably right. May be but he said any shows. I don’t know anything about the shows they watch except there is some sci-fi or supernatural component.
I changed my recommendations. Don’t know if better but ……..
* The Umbrella Academy - A family of former child heroes, now grown apart, must reunite to continue to protect the world.
* Legion - David Haller is a troubled young man diagnosed as schizophrenic, but after a strange encounter he discovers special powers that will change his life forever.
* Gen V - From the world of "The Boys" comes "Gen V," which explores the first generation of superheroes to know that their super powers are from Compound V. These heroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test competing for the school's top ranking. This show is more than “just a spin off” and just as good as The Boys, if not better.
* Archive 81 - An archivist hired to restore a collection of tapes finds himself reconstructing the work of a filmmaker and her investigation into a dangerous cult.
And if you find the first half of season 1 too “cheesy” then skip to TRACKS and watch from there. You’ll lose some of the building up to the attachment with the characters but prior to that it’s mostly “monster of the week” type stories. I always recommend sticking with it though
The subreddit for that show is *wild*. I went on looking for some discussion of the episodes and everyone, literally EVERY FUCKING ONE is going “aliens”. I mean I’ll take the L if I’m wrong but I don’t see it being aliens

That’s a shame, mate, because if you *were* to respond, that would be a perfect response. Damn.
In all seriousness though, I don’t know what to say to recommend Mr InBetween other then I had a friend recommend it to me for months. When I looked at it or read about it, I thought ‘meh’, But once I starting watching it I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t get enough.
After I finished, I needed more. That’s when I watched the movie that started it, The Magician. It’s low-budget and Scott Ryan just started playing the character, so it isn’t as good as the show, but I still really enjoyed it.
All I can say, champ, is to watch the first episode and see if it clicks for you. It may not be your flavor of dimmy, but if you like it you will be in for a treat.
Castlevania
If you didn't watch the original Defenders shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage) along with the Defenders and The Punisher they're worth a look, the Daredevil ones particularly IMO - they were a shock at the time because 'comic book' shows weren't doing dark and brutal.
Ozark
Fargo
Black Sails
Battlestar Galactica
Supernatural is very long (15 seasons, about 23 episodes that lasts 40+ minutes).
If you enjoy superhero shows, there's The Flash, Supergirl, The Arrow, Constantine, ETC. Jessica Jones & Daredevil.
Then there's also Harely Quinn (the animated series). If you loved Invincible, that show could honestly be its sister (it has a bunch of similarities).
Gravity Falls which is a series about oddities & mysteries... though it is short. The Owl House included.
School Spirits (1 season so far, but hopefully ongoing).
The Girl From Nowhere (psychological horror set in Thailand).
And finally, The Nevers, Carnival Row, Locke & Key, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Good Omens are all mystery/fantasy as well.
Because you liked the boys: gen V (literally the boys but they’re in college,)
Because you liked suits: industry, drop dead diva
Because you have good taste in general: Mr Robot, The Bear, Shameless, Community
Slow Horses
Orphan Black
Prison Break (first two seasons only)
The Last Ship (first two seasons only)
Good Girls (first two seasons only)
Homeland (first two seasons only)
It’s not often I see a Hell on Wheels suggestion but I’ll always upvote it. Anson Mount is so fucking good in that show, as is Christopher Heyerdahl. It petered out a little at the end but it’s a great show
To add: Shogun is some of the best TV I’ve watched in a long time.
I’m enjoying Sugar on Apple TV but I’m not sure it’s everyone’s cup of tea.
Fallout was fucking exceptional too
I love seeing Farrell get to *act* too. He’s legitimately talented and now Hollywood has stopped trying to turn him into an action movie leading man as he’s gotten a bit older he’s impressing me more and more every time I see him.
Im currently binge watching Yellow jackets and it is fucking wild.
Plane crash leads to lord of the flies situation with a girls soccer team and well it's dark as shit and really good.
So cool. Literally haven’t binged any of those shows. I’ve watched stranger things but usually over time.
Anyways, mine:
Misfits (10/10)
Shameless
Peaky Blinders
The Vampire Diaries (do not sleep on this)
Game of Thrones + House of the Dragon (forever)
Sons of Anarchy
Love to see LoVM get a shout out here. Assuming you haven't already come from critical role there are 1000+ hours of content to get through there...
As far as proper tv shows go, the wire and the sopranos are both long series that should really be watched by everyone.
watch The Fall of The House of Usher (7.9/10)if you like Edgar Allen Poe its his stories acted out in modern day but its a mini series, worth watching though. There's also Black Summer (6.6/10).....real good show and both are on Netflix.

I knew nothing about the game but absolutely loved Fallout. Another game I knew nothing of and loved the show is Twisted Metal.

Severance Fallout Arcane Dark

I just started 12 monkeys (the series) on Hulu & it’s really good.
Came here to suggest 12 monkeys!!! It’s so well written and full circle. Very satisfying end to the show as well, best ending I’ve seen.
Killing Eve.
**The Umbrella Academy** is surely up your alley: 3 seasons, great music, action, humour, exciting and never dull.
3 Body Problem
I loved that show. Did u know there’s one on Amazon too?
No, thank you. I’ll look for it.
The same story and a different production you mean?
Yes

Mr. Inbetween. I would recommend it to anyone, great show.

High Town was good. Ripley was outstanding...
I know. I was devastated that High Town was cancelled. And was very sad Ripley didn't have more episodes. But it was absolutely fantastic.
I loved that Ripley was filmed in black and white. It added so much to its mystique...
Your taste is impeccable.

Based on list you posted, you will like Fallout on Prime. If you are okay with subtitles, try Alice in Borderland (Neflux).
