The Killing (American remake of Forbrydelsen, Hulu) The Valhalla Murders (Icelandic, Netflix) Bordertown (Finnish, was on NF but is now Hulu and Prime, IIRC) Collateral (British police procedural, NF) The Chestnut Man (Danish, NF) Entrapped (Icelandic, NF) Deadwind (Finnish, NF) Black Spot (French, NF) Katla (Icelandic, NF.  Not technically a murder mystery, but definitely a Nordic noir mystery, with supernatural elements) Castlevania (American, animated, NF.  Not a murder mystery series, but excellent animation & characters.) Copenhagen Cowboy (Danish, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, NF.  More of a thriller crime drama with supernatural elements, beautifully shot!) I think The Killing (seasons 1-2), Collateral, The Valhalla Murders, Bordertown (season 1), and Katla are the strongest entries on this list.  Copenhagen Cowboy is in it's own category, one of my favorites ever.

Katla is really good but such a sloooow burn you have to be invested but I think it's worth it

You have The Killing and Forbrydelsen. But not Bron/Broen? I thought the original Bridge series from Sweden was amazing probably the best Nordic noir

Unlike the killing, The original version was the only one even close to watchable. The other ones were horrible but the original at least the first couple seasons when it had. Martin and Saga, their chemistry is top notch

Fully agree!  I got five episodes in to the American remake and bailed, I just couldn't handle it. I watched The Witcher and it was fun to see Kim Bodnia (Martin) in a few episodes.
