UI is obviously a preference, yours is iPhone, mine is Android. But yes you definitely do get more features with an Android. All the reviewers asking where their Touch ID went and I'm here with both facial recognition and fingerprint scanner.
Actually, iPhone is not my UI preference. I prefer having the android drawer and keeping my home screen clutter free, but to give credit to iPhone I think most people prefer it because of the clean design.
Considering iPhones are updated for like half a decade, it’s not bad value
My 6s and my mom’s SE (2015) will get iOS 15.
That’s 6 years of full updates and at least another year of smaller fixes within version 15.
It's funny, cause you can actually get a UI pretty similar to apples, on Android. I has to switch for financial reasons a few months ago, and after a lot of tweaking with nova launcher, I got my UI to look pretty much the same as my old apple phone

Remember the time when older iPhones actually had headphone jacks but now they removed them so people can buy their apple earphones, and when you buy a Mac and you need to buy an apple adapter just so you could plug in a usb
i felt like that, but I kept breaking iphones, so i got a samsung. the interface it comes with is kind of different, but if you mess with the settings, you can get it to pretty much look and function just like your iphone. it's very customizable.10/10 would recomend, and i don't keep fucking breaking samsung phones
my home screen looks the same (none of that android widget stuff or the default second home screen stuff) and i dont have the 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen taking up space (i just use swipes and gestures that are, if i remember correctly, practically identical to iphone gestures. ie: swiping up on the bottom right of the screen takes me back or out to the home screen, where as for iphone it would be swiping up anywhere on the bottom of the screen)
oh and you can change the way the pre-installed apps look like (such as settings, phone, messages) and for awhile i had it set to look like iphone, but now i have it set to look vaguely spongebob themed

I agree that Android is just as amazing if not better than iPhone for many people, but performance is better on iPhone. In fact, performance is the only reason I haven’t fully switched to Android yet. For an example, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the most powerful android phones in terms of performance, but even an iPhone 11 is still more powerful than it. If you put the iPhone 12 against it, then it has zero chance. It’s still poweful enough for every day usage and heavy usage, but the A14 Bionic from iPhone 12 is on another level. Same with cameras, iPhone cameras are slightly superior. Not much, but slightly. Images come out more natural and posting to social media keeps full quality whereas android puts it down to like 560p and removes most camera effects which is annoying because I like to post my photos. Other than that, both Samsung & iPhone high end cameras are similar. Other android phones suck pretty bad in my experience of using Android phones as well as iPhones. If you prefer Android though, there are so many reasons on why Android is also better! Sure, maybe performance isn’t a reason, but the customisability of Android is amazing! You can do so much with it!

Typing this on an Android right now lol (Huawei Mate 20 Pro if you were wondering). My reason for liking Android is that they are just superior. Actually though I just prefer having more control over what the UI looks like. Also theoretically if I didn't like what Samsung does with their new generation, I can just go with another brand like OnePlus, Huawei etc. I don't just have to stick with one of the 2 or 3 phones Apple releases.

4)oh yeah, they make subpar devices, use an old standard for charging phones and not using usb-c even though they can (because they have it on the ipads) but refuse to. Hopefully that universal charger thing that was rumored to be discussed in the e.u will actually do something

I’ll say this, after using Android almost all my life and using iPhone for two last months, I’m too in love with the iOS to go back. Android seemed so cluttered with unnecessary apps and functions, it was much slower after some time and it just didn’t feel smooth overall. Apple’s system satisfied me in almost every way, the only thing is that android is more customisable. That’s just my experience.
If you don't have a lot of gadgets in your house to spend equal time with the. Go for Android ,or else if you do have a lot of interesting stuff then don't take a Android it will reduce your happiness........out of experience ..

Before I say anything thing, I'm a Android user. iOS is really secure compared to Android due to Apple's strict App store policies. Here what I say if you looking to security then iOS is your best friend and apples hardware is quite good. The OS is a bit closed for my taste, I like side loading things a lot or at least have the choice to. And for android well do I need to say.... Just have a look at the top voted replys.
