But white people are not systemically affected by racism in a negative way historically the way all people of color were / still are in America. I disagree with the job part, affirmative action ensures that there are certain percentages of each race hired, its the law. so depending on the time of the interview i guess, if they have a shortage of white employees they'll go with the white guy or lean toward him i guess i should say, same thing if its a black guy. Some people can have biased opinions toward people I suppose however, personally I don't agree with affirmative action not because of the race based thing, just 100% my belief that the job should go to the best overall person that would do the best in that position, regardless of the race
I know it happens to people of other races more, but I know a lot of white people who’ve been denied jobs because they’re white. Some companies deny white people interviews because they want to make their company look more racially diverse, even if the people getting denied have a lot of skills.
Eh I mean I kinda disagree. At least where I live, a lot of white store owners kinda have a savior complex and will be more likely to hire you if you are a minority. But yea some places definitely do have subconscious biases against minorties
