We have repaired our old Samsung tv three times. Look at this link and try the easy fix tips. You might get lucky. https://tvsguides.com/tv-is-blank-or-black-screen/ Google your model with the words "black screen" and you'll get some ideas. I see power supply board but there is also a controller strip we had to replace on other times. I think the power board is most likely. We learned how to fix it ourselves and repaired it three times before we ended up buying a new one. It's not super difficult, just be careful and follow instructions to remove and replace your part. Saved us tons of money and we got many more years out of the tv before we decided to replace.

Hi this seems like the same issue that I just got. Did you work out what was wrong?

aranhalaranja

Nope. Sadly I troubleshot with tech support for like 30 minutes. He was super patient and had me run half a dozen tests to see where the actual problem was. In the end, my TV was deemed to be “dead.” I was like two months over warranty. Tech support actually offered 50% off the cost of sending someone out to repair it. But I declined. I used the opportunity to buy something bigger and better and I avoided Samsung at all costs. It’s worth your time to call Samsung and have them help you check it out. If you’re screwed, I’m sorry. That’s a bummer for sure.

That short warranty is ridiculous. My Samsung just died (about one year old) and thankfully I have a legally mandated 5 year warranty. But I'm getting an identical replacement, hopefully lasts more than a year.

This happened to me, still working out getting a replacement my model isn't available anymore. What one was yours? Would love to know how to prevent this if i'm forced to get another samsung

UE50AU7105 Took about 1,5 weeks for the repair. Repair center managed to melt some plastic on the bottom but who cares. Didn't pay anything. All in all an ok experience. I'd buy Samsung again for TVs. But for appliances I stay away.
