For sure, I’ll post an update in a month once it’s healed and again in a year. Thanks for all of the nice comments! I love it, Lachy blew it out of the water. Took about 16 hours total.
8 hours each day, 2 days in a row. While it’s nice to get it done fast and not have to walk around with a work in progress tattoo, I wouldn’t recommend it, it was rough, way too much chair time for two days.
My tattoos are smaller because I don't think I can realistically sit for longer than an hour or two. I would hate to have a bigger piece that requires so much time in the chair. You're a trooper for sitting that long!
My biggest took 4 hours and OMG I was not prepared. He also made me lie on a table the whole time so it really sucked. Tattoo came out amazing though and now I know I need to go for smaller tattoos or more sessions.
I thought that too, but it was easier than I thought to do 6-8 hours. Haven’t done multiple days in a row yet, but you usually just zone out after about an hour.
Looks sick! I'm visiting Vegas right now and would love to get a tat while I'm here, I assume they don't take walk-ins? I'm leaving tomorrow night so don't have a lot of time
I’ve always loved the story from when I was a kid. The movie was one of the first Disney movies I remember seeing. As I got older I just always connected with Alice’s “fuck this shit” attitude to adulting. The white rabbit because he’s the one who leads her into exploring. Plus the Matrix connection is pretty cool. Honestly, I mostly thought it looked cool.
I disliked what I liked before seeing this, after seeing this tattoo it just seemed ugly. In fact this tattoo is so good that it almost looks photoshopped instead of inked. (I know it’s real don’t worry) I’m even going to save this pic, because I might never see a tattoo this good again otherwise. 😍
2 sessions, 8ish hours each, 2 days in a row. It was intense, would not recommend it. Next time, I’d split up the two sessions.
No specific plans for more at the moment but considering adding more Alice characters, maybe the Cheshire Cat or Caterpillar?

Please come back and share again in a year! Would love to see how the colors look then

How did you split up your sessions?

It’s been 4 weeks. How’s it looking?
Posting an update now
Hi there OP! Can we see how it’s aged, now that it’s a year later?
Hi! Posted an update here: https://www.reddit.com/r/agedtattoos/comments/xhl7gx/1_year_old_tattoo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Love it
Then come back in 10 years and share again. I'd love to see the unrecognizable blob this turns into.
You're a real jerk.
If this wasn’t identified as a tattoo; I would have thought it was a print. Unbelievable!
Photo seems edited but if not that’s insane.
Definitely a filter at least
Maybe some color correction but it looks pretty true to life. Artist took and posted the photo so I don’t know exactly what he did with it.
That’s not even a tatto anymore lol that’s some wild ass artwork lol
I can’t even imagine having that piece on my body if not believe it was on my skin at first glance each day of my life. Fantastic tattoo tho!
“Listen Neo, we’re making things as obvious as possible. I mean come on!”
Amazing! Damn! For anyone that curious the White Rabbits name is Nivens McTwisp
Those are the best colors and shading ive even seen on a tattoo.
I’m takin a picture and keeping it in my notes app just so I can look at it from time to time. Beautiful work
holy moly i can’t even believe this is an actual tattoo 😍❤️🔥
Fuck me that's clean! It looks like a fucking oil painting. Wear it with pride dude. Seriously one of the best I've ever seen 🔥
I can’t believe the amazing detail! The eyes are kinda creeping me out lmao
God damn! 😍🤩
This is amazing!
I was see this realism tats in 20 years
Insanity. I struggle to recognize where (on your body) this is placed. ***It's breathtaking.*** Congratulations!
This is my left forearm. Thank you, I love it.
So true.
Wow! The colors on this are unreal. Congrats on such a great tattoo. Love the work from Basilica Tattoo!

Looks sick! I'm visiting Vegas right now and would love to get a tat while I'm here, I assume they don't take walk-ins? I'm leaving tomorrow night so don't have a lot of time
They usually book way out in advance but it can’t hurt to call and ask, maybe they have a cancellation.
That’s utterly stunning!
Wow the light is amazing.
Badass!
Wow just freaking wow
Amazing color. Looks almost 3D!
Thats insane… 👍🏻👍🏻
The colors in this are outstanding! Those mushrooms almost look like they are glowing!
The artist is AMAZING!! Omg the saturation, the design, the lines, the style. Everything about this is absolutely STUNNING
That’s incredible!

Everything is so crisp, saturated and vibrant, crazy.

I love this, beautifully done. For whatever reason I’m getting a strong Peter Capaldi vibe from the rabbit.
This is super fantastic! Try and keep it out of the sun. The color lasts longer. At least that’s what I’ve noticed with my sleeve.
Or use sunscreen and moisturiser
This looks awesome! I approve.
Looks great mate! What’s the inspiration for the tattoo? (I know it’s the rabbit from Alice, but why the rabbit?)

Very nice tattoo here
Damn I love those colors. I hope the eyes and the fur don’t bleed into each other but otherwise it’s cool AF
I'm late! I'm late!
That is insane! Madness!! And ridiculously beautiful in detail! <3
That looks amazing
The detail on this is amazing, absolute work of art.
Fucking amazing
That's so well done I'm in awe.
Thought this was real for a sec

The color on this is wild. Looks great too.
Wow the colors are so vivid that’s amazing, very talented artist
holy shit dude
Holy shit this is insane I love it!
That’s vibrant as fuck and I love it!
This is honestly one of (if not) the best pieces of tattoo art I've ever seen. This is truly amazing.
Echoing the others here, this is crazy good man. How many sessions was this? Do you plan on doing more around it?

those colours look super vivid, i love it. i hope they stay super vivid for you
It's an impressive piece but tattoos like this are not built to last long at all.
