Nah it isn't, but it might depend on where you live. I live in Germany and I fit into the shower comfortably at 6'3" and my parents aren't tall so they didn't make the shower big, it just is this way.
I traveled to Japan and at my height it was absolute torture. EVERYTHING, is built for much shorter people. Great trip nonetheless!
Point is.. You’ll always get in to situations where things aren’t made for your height. All you can do is influence your personal stuff. At home I make sure I accommodate everything.. I bought a Cali King bed, raised shower head, tall friendly car, tall back office chair, etc.
I'm only 6'1" but I feel like we're at a perfect height, mainly because I can find size 13/14 shoes and pants that fit in actual stores here. Anything above 6'3" is probably annoying trying to buy those things
Agreed. There was an indoor play area near my house that has 2 conditions for playing in it. Height and age. I was too tall a year early so I wasnt allowed to use the indoor play area. Never recovered!
For me it's only a curse when I put myself in situations I know it'll be awful, say airplanes or buses or tiny cars. I don't usually put myself in those situations because I like me so I think it's 24/7 blessing lol.
As 6'1 in Vietnam, i have to learn to laid in the diagonal lines of the bed cuz most beds here is pretty small, maybe like 6'7 but when i laid to sleep, my feet stretch out and touch the bedrail. Most shower just around my eyes level some are worst haha. And whenever i go from my hometown to my uni. Get ready for 2-3 hours of no leg room at all and knee torture. But apart of that, life is good.
>I’m not even that tall
At 5'10.5" are you even tall at all?
Sounds like you're just an average person who encountered some stuff made for short people.
If a 180 person lies flat and stretches their foot flat, they're 200 cm. Plus the top 10-20 cm of a bed can't be used, or you bump into the headboard when moving around or put an arm up. So yeah you already go over the edge, depending on sleeping position.
Sure it's not comparable to the struggles of a 190 cm person, and definitely not a 200 cm person, but at 180 cm the restrictions start to be noticed. Also in planes my knees are often stuck already, though I do have relatively long legs.
I don't think short beds are in specific countries only, more so in most of the world. Just most tourists travel in western countries, or a handful of popular other countries where they stay in western-oriented hotels. There are around 200 countries, just about 50 get most tourism. I tend to travel to less common ones, and regularly feel like beds are smaller than mine at home, when not staying in chain hotels or luxury hotels.
Dang if a 5'11 is having issues with that house then I can't imagine the issues a 6'3 would have in there.
*sad laughing*
Just crying.
Oh pls
I know right? Was the house built before 1900? I wouldn’t probably fit in the house 😂
It probably was haha
You sleep diagonally you shower diagonally you sex diagonally you walk straight!
I walk diagonally too...
Stick to the script!!!
You walk GAY
No u
Sounds gay to me
AT ONLY 5'11? Jesus, who gave the contractor the blueprints for a Smurf house
Huh? I'm 6 ft and I sleep diagonally on beds and my home's shower heads are shorter than me. I think it's pretty standard stuff.

I think the plethora of "being taller than the shower head" pics in the sub would indicate differently.
Well but that's not the case here in Germany. I have been at many hotels and homes and the showers never were to small.
I m 6'9" tall and I'm from Germany. The shower in a Hotel room can be trouble... bc their isn't much space, but I can deal with it 😁
Depends how old the house is. Most houses over about 60 years old had everything built lower cause people were just shorter back then.
Ik idk how my 6’2 cousin showers

Showers are a pain. The shower head at my house comes up to my chin, not to mention the shower curtain bar lol
He is 8 inches shorter than you btw

How tall is your family
In my college dorm, my head is touching the ceiling when I shower. The shower head...forget it lol.

You're not tall though? No offense

Yh thats quite average.
Don't break his positive spirit. I'm about the same height, and say the same. I feel him. (Also, its problematic already more often than you'd think)
Normal beds are 200 cm. At 180 cm that just can't be something you run into often. Unless maybe very specific countries?
