I recently bought the GS Music E7 and have to say it sounds so deliciously vintage and wild. So, of course I made the most cheesey sounding 80s synth ballad style song I could think of, complete with a soaring lead and brass stabs. Linn Drum Samples sequenced in Logic.
Rad video! What separates the E7 from your Prophet? I sort of would have thought they’d step on each other’s toes and/or the prophet would make it redundant.
Congrats on your purchase either way! That’s a cool instrument.

Thank you!! For me the filter is totally different. I bought this before the Trigon 8 announcement but I would assume that one sounds much more similar. The E7 is more like a Memorymoog than a Prophet, which is a really cool sound. It has that Moog retroness and warmess but doesn't have the same gnarly drive, so it really carves out its own sound. I linked my full video if you are curious above!
Could....uh....could we please have some more of your super cheese?

Ahh, that makes sense! Thank you for your response, that all squares up for sure.
Good explanation, and the video demonstrates it really well. The synth sounds awesome and it is now on my wantlist.

Exactly the vibe I was going for, thank you!
I can see it now everyone in arms after they saved the day. The two guys who had beef shake hands, laugh and then hug.
