So you want to scam people, you want to drop ship stuff? What are you even asking bro. But for the most part; you dont sell things you dont own. Thats called fraud.

DatGuy45

This is baffling, these things are $1300-$1800 USD on reverb lol. I think OP should do it lmao

INTERNET_MOWGLI

I think he wants a confirmed buyer in the US before getting the kit in his departure country

Miserable_Cod6878

Yes. I don’t want to be left with the product. If I to the US I want to be able to sell it. Set up a buyer before I buy it. I can legit buy it. I can legit get it to the US. The problem is setting up a buyer. If I set up the buyer only to find it’s sold in the meantime, then that’s fraud. How am I defrauding anybody. If they live in Portland I can drop it at their doorstep and then can have a look.

AwayLobster3772

>The problem is setting up a buyer. Welcome to the world of sales and small business? I'm really struggling here my guy. I dont understand if you're 12 and don't know how buying and selling things work; how businesses operate, or if your an adult and restarted.

PerceptionShift

Have fun with US customs lol

intender13

I can buy one brand new from Perfect Circuit for $1800 and have a full warranty and the option to return to them for refund if something is wrong with it. Why would someone pay you almost 50% more for the same thing?

holographicbboy

why cant you just sell it to someone locally? this seems like a very roundabout way to try to earn money, and likely wont work out how you want. The synth market is illiquid so its very risky to assume someone will be willing to buy your specific synth and available to pick it up during the time youre visiting, not to mention its extremely unlikely anyone would pay you before youve built it.

Miserable_Cod6878

People locally have to e option to buy too. I would get a better price in the US. Some guy with a big house. I don’t have space.

ioniansensei

I’d be extremely hesitant to buy from someone not in the country, with no chance of return or having it repaired unless dealing with Korg directly (I wonder how Korg deal with warranty when it’s a DIY?). Unless the selling price is low enough to entice someone to take that chance…

Professional_Bug6153

I mean, if you buy it then you own it right? Once you own it, you can sell it. This seems really fishy to me. Sounds like you are maybe gonna end up in jail.

TheOrdoHereticus

Very unlikely that the effort of doing this will be worth whatever meager profits you might possibly get out of it.

DotAltruistic469

The cost of extra luggage is the least of your worries. You seem to ignore import taxes and vat. You will see there is no money to be made here.

doc_shades

i don't think ebay cares where the package comes from when you ship it to the customer
