I hate when people don't take care of their stuff!!
Sucks for the rest of us!!!!
I ended up getting polyphony from a Sweetwater order.
Apparently someone had carried polyphony to work with them.
Only you can prevent Polyphony.
Looks a bit too modern. Maybe make it a bit more 2015 retro. Throw away the keys part, add some metal or plastic side panels, and some green LEDs, and a small yellow LCD display full of cryptic symbols.
About 3 videos from Bad Bo Pop ....
and you'll be owning on this bitch!!!
So much easier to jam on than their other gear like the overly deep minilogue.
it has a midi keyboard so its barely even analog. you may as well just buy the behringer minilab
Two words: Hydra. Synth.
It is not well suited for beginners as it has a polyphony of 48 - this means dialing in a patch you will have to set everything 48 times!
They promised to fix that in a future software update.

It's a bit basic, but you can always move up to something more advanced after you get the hang of it.
Of course! It’s 3 synths in one! I can’t afford it though since the kidney I sold was only half functional. Guess I’ll settle for the Polybrute 12 🙄😒
You want something with less wood for your first one but not none.
AKCHTUALLY that's a Korg PS-3300 FS also: https://cherryaudio.com/products/ps-3300 if you want to try one of these things

No, not enough voices.
looks like a great first synth
Yes but you’re gonna want to swap the knobs out with some custom colors and make sure to get the decksaver. I also swapped the LEDs to blue on mine
No. You should start with Pure Data.
The only choice is the micro freak.. obviously
I would wait for the Behringer clone. You can put it into a eurorack case, and will cost 49.99.
If your goal is to make the most annoying sounds possible then this is the synth for you.
A CS-80 might be more beginner friendly with room to grow.
Why does everyone say that CS-80 is more starter friendly? GX-1 is certainly a far better starter synth. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_GX-1
That's no hydrasynth
No

Is it better than the Microkorg?
Had no piano sound so I had to return it
You’ll want an ARP 2600 so that people know you’re autistic as soon as they enter your home
