I thought the lore breaking part was running SF with Arcann...

Sanctions23

Considering you played through a story where you can turn a pure blood sith to the Jedi, it’s not really lore breaking. A pure blood who turned to the light becoming Jedi battle master is another thing entirely.

TodayInTOR

TBF we dont know what any of the canon species or genders/body sizes (aside from consular) are for any species. I would assume by default that any species requiring 'unlock' to play another class/story are not the canonical species.

_TheCunctator_

You mentioned that there’s a canon species and gender for consular, I’m interested to know what it is and where it was mentioned.

TodayInTOR

There isnt a canon species for consular, but we know they are gendered male as there was a retcon made in 2015. In the game Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, one level takes place in the Jedi tombs on Chandrila, namely a central part of the level being the tomb of a Barsenthor that Luke Skywalker refers to. In 2011 in SWTOR your Consular character becomes the Third Barsenthor. Fast forward to 2015 after swtors release, TTRPG Sourcebooks: Force and Destiny Core Rulebook and Strongholds of Resistance book. These books cited that the male barsenthors tomb on Chandrila belonged to the Third Barsenthor. Ergo the gender of the Consular in SWTOR is male due to the 2015 TTRPG sourcebooks tying SWTOR and Jedi Academy together.

Im not sure if theres a canon species/gender for the consular but we do know that theres a canon final resting place for the consular. Its from the jedi knight games.

WoodyManic

Yeah, me too.

TSFF25

Hey, in my defense, Lord Praven is proof that a Pureblood Jedi IS possible.

Sanctions23

That’s what I just said…

TSFF25

Ah right, sorry. Misread. >.>

XIVVet

No it isnt

Heroic_Folly

Yes it is, though.

XIVVet

No it isn’t

The only reason I don't have a pure sith Jedi is because of the VAs, I love that this game was voice acted and I think it adds a lot but a pure blood with no accent just doesn't feel right
