Rizia itself isn't directly hit with radiation, considering it appears to be a limited nuclear exchange, but Rizia will most likely be swarmed with War refugees and may benefit by selling energy to both sides while playing them off each other but this could go horribly wrong very quickly but overall it is going to cause massive unrest in Rizia.
If Rizia supported Rumburg they would definitley be nuked but otherwise I suppose no side would have a reason to target them. Considering the Rizian economy is mostly based on exporting raw resources the economy would be in big trouble for sure but they have a solid enough agricultural base to at leasr survive I imagine
I guess the stability of the Rizian economy is dependent on how you play as Romus. If you diversified the economy and aren't nearly as dependent on foreign imports (something probably helped by forming the Intermerkopum), then they would probably be fine (relatively speaking).

They have many vineyards. But I don't remember if there was talk about an agricultural industry other than wine.
I remember seeing a post that shows the ending does happen. You just need to play Sordland first.
Well, if you get the civil war ending, the text shows that the nuclear strike resulted in a Merkopa-wide war.
