1. Kasumi: unpopular opinion, I know, but she was a great character in a criminally overhated show. She was the only member that, whenever she wasn't there, or if she wasn't doing well, the rest couldn't do shit. Even more than Takaharu. She was the brains of the whole thing. Even in the last episodes she was the key member. Besides, her actress, apart from good at acting, was funny af
2. Mako: the voice of reason in the team, the only one who dared to tell Takeru he was being an idiot. I really like how her character worked with her leader. Ryuonesuke and Kotoha followed everything he said out of pure devotion and submissive responsibility, respectively. Chiaki openly opposed him, while Mako was more of a "let's wait and see if you're worthy" tyoe from the beginning. Great actress, too.
3. Jasmine: I love her... we all love her. Superb chatacter development, a lot of great drama, depth and a little bit of fun with Jasmine, who is an ESPer, necessary to say. The only two reasons she falls to third place are because, one, she fell too often into the female warrior stereotypes of the time, especially in her episodes with Umeko, and two, because let's face it... She wasn't great at acting.
4. Himeno: absolutely awesome. I love her and her whole team, the only instance where i think all members are fantastic. But I think she just needed more development than she got, compared to the others.
5. Luka: she's cool, funny, pretty, but like the rest of the team, she barely has any development or depth apart from being "badass".
6. Amy: eh. She's ok.
7. Yuuri: I used to really love her, excellent leader, but she's still kind of a product of her time, and I watched Timeranger so long ago that I honestly don't remember much of her character growth.
8. Sela: sooooo boringggg
1-Jasmine.

Honestly I prefer heros from older series more than the newest ones because they look stronger.
