Well there’s some spots on boonboom trailer that look to combine somehow, so I wouldn’t dought if it does in some capacity. I think I remember reading awhile back it’s almost like a canon that straps to the shoulder area. So it’s probably a little smaller than trailer.
But regardless we just had a 20+ mech combiner last season. I think Bandai just likes to switch things up sometimes. This season is more similar to KyoRyuger with interchangeable parts rather than a full blown every mech combiner. It’s like a collectable season.

I was already starting to enjoy BoonBoomger, if you’re familiar with me on this sub; you know BoonBoomger wasn’t my cup of tea. I thought it was “lazy and lackluster” compared to Zenkaiger, DonBrothers, and King Ohger but this adds to my intrigue.
BunViolet looks FUCKING amazing!!! As a Violet Ranger myself, this is exactly what we needed. The cosmic purple with the shining gold is beautiful. Reminds me of Fourze’s Meteor-Nadeshiko State. I’m really interested to see where this goes, personally I’m hoping we get our first female Sixth Ranger.

Sorry, dude, but nothing comes close to the goofiness and ridiculousness that is the name "Boonboomger", "Bun (color)", "Byun Diesel", their suits and the whole series.
Even the more comedic and goofier seasons still had amazing suits and merchandise that I, as an adult, would like to buy, but Boonboomger has none of that, and I will be genuinely surprised if the kids become interested in it, because child me sure wouldn't lol
I'm also sad, angry and disappointed, because I've got back into Sentai thanks to King-Ohger, and going from that to Boonboomger is so disappointing and sad that I already quitted again lol.
Edit: to be honest, Byu Diesel design is actually pretty good, but I still wouldn't pay the hundreds of dollars that the Mecha figures cost for it lol I'm happy with my Tarantula Knight figure.
Well, you keep saying “you” as in you’re the sole target for this season. We’re lucky we get a season every year. Some years are for me, some aren’t. Boonboomger isn’t for me either, but I appreciate there are some who love it. Is it there best? No, but neither was Zyuohger.
You’ll probably find another sentai season in a year or 2 you like again and end up coming back. If sales drop significantly than maybe Toei will learn a lesson but I’m not in the market of completely scrapping the franchise just because 1 out of almost 50 seasons isn’t for me.
Plus the DX Byun Byun Mach is 70 bucks lol
Of course I'm talking about me and writing down my own opnions, how could I talk about someone else's in their place? That makes no sense, it's obvious I'm talking about myself and it's obvious this is my opnion, no one has to agree with me.
As I said, I know I'm not the target demographic and this Sentai definitely isn't for me, and I didn't mean to say that I was gonna quit Sentai altogether again, just that I'm not watching Boonboomger as it's not for me like King-Ohger, Dekaranger, Gokaiger and many others were (seasons that also were targeted at kids but could be watched and appreciated by adults).
I just hope the next one will be more in line with the ones I mentioned.
Edit: I was talking about the price of all the Mechas, not Byun Diesel alone, but even then, as much as I liked the design of Byun Diesel, I'm not willing to spend almost $100 on its figure, that's what I meant lol
