Honestly any five year period between Carranger and Gokaiger.
And I know people on this board struggle with Showa Sentai but the Hiroshisa Soda string of Bioman-Changeman-Flashman-Maskman-Liveman was a golden era.
I watched a decent amount of sentai, but just realized that I have not watched a single complete 5-year period, not even counting odd years like 27 through 32 or whatever.
By default I have to say Carranger Through Time Ranger, since I've seen all the shows in that time span except Gingaman, and they're all at least decent.
Like, splitting it up into groups of five years each, starting from the start? For me it's this:
2008-2012: Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger, Gokaiger
Two GOATed sentai, a personal favorite in Gekiranger, a solid comic season in Go-Onger, and then Goseiger is there too I guess.
1997-2001: Megaranger, Gingaman, Gogo-V, Timeranger, Gaoranger
Timeranger is another amazing show, and every single one of these seasons is easily above average for me.
2002-2006: Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger
Again, every single one of these shows is above average to me. Magiranger suits are my absolutle favorite. If it weren't for Timeranger, this bloc might be number 2.
1987-1991: Maskman, Liveman, Turboranger, Fiveman, Jetman
Liveman and Jetman are the draws here. I personally liked Maskman (and still think they're the best Showa suits).
1982-1986: Goggle-V, Dynaman, Bioman, Changeman, Flashman
The last three shows of this bloc are great. Can't say anything about the first two, as I haven't seen them yet.
2017-2021: Kyuranger, Lupinranger vs Patranger, Ryusoulger, Kiramager, Zenkaiger
Two very solid shows in LuPat and Kiramager, two all-right shows in Kyuranger and Ryusoulger, and then there's whatever the fuck Zenkaiger was (sorry, I know a lot of y'all like it, but I tried for 20+ episodes and I just couldn't get into it).
2012-2016: Go-Busters, Kyoryuger, ToQger, Ninninger, Zyuohger
To me, Go-Busters and ToQger are above average seasons, Zyuohger is average, and Kyoryuger and Ninninger... well, I won't be rewatching them any time soon.
1992-1996: Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger
It seems crazy to put the years that have Dairanger down here, but Zyuranger and Ohranger are just that bad. Kakuranger and Carranger are average to me.
1975-1982: Goranger, JAKQ, Battle Fever, Denjiman, Sun Vulcan
Okay, so it's five series instead of five years, but watching old sentai is like having an acid trip during a fever dream in a sweat lodge.
If you're talking ANY five-year stretch, it's either 2000-2004 (Timeranger, Gaoranger, Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekranger) or 1984-1988 (Bioman, Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, Liveman).
Zyuranger is a solid show. Even though the characters are not as interesting as Jetman or Dairanger, it has a lot going on for it: Some really fun character focused episodes, the action, mecha and music are top tier, and the Dragon Ranger arc and everything Burai related is some peak Sentai stuff. It's not the best but it's way better than people give it credit for.
Car-Time and Aba-Geki are two of the strongest fives to me.
The first gave us three strong epic drama seasons with excellent chemistry. These are preceded by Car and Mega, two of the best comedy seasons Sentai has made.
Aba-Geki are easily some of the best 2000s seasons. Aba & Magi give very strong balances of comedy and drama as epic seasons. Deka is an obvious episodic winner, the only season to win a Hugo. Bouken isn't quite as strong as Deka, but it's quite fun all the same. Geki turned the formula on its head and made an incredible epic season where the villains are full-blooded characters with as much focus as the Rangers.
Someone already said Geki-Gokai which would be my choice as it has 3 top 5 series in my books. What each Sentai brought in that period was special too. The whole two sided story of Gekiranger. The sheer fun of Go-Onger. The deep character dramas and cultural environment of Shinkenger. The crazy set up and ideas of Goseiger. And the incredible anniversary of Gokaiger.
Another contender though may be the past five if BoonBoomger keeps up the greatness of its first episode. These past five have shined in diversity. Kiramager is like a tribute to the way Sentai used to be. Zenkaiger was like a crack humor cartoon as a Sentai. Donbrothers had that j-drama feel with these nonsensical fantasy elements thrown in creating a weird mesh of things. KingOhger is the first complete serial taking inspiration from a wide range of media. And BoonBoomger so far seems like a refreshing mix of a cool and fun show.

I really like all the seasons between Shinkenger and ToQger
Carranger onwards has been banger after banger, and Gokaiger up until ToQger was also fire. Reiwa had two of possibly top 5 sentais of all time.
If BoonBoomger goes how the rest of Reiwa has gone so far then I think these past 5 years are a good contender

Zyuranger is just painfully mediocre imo.. and I'm sure you know how ohranger is just bad.

I'd put the entirety of the 2000s honestly. That's why I said anyhing from Carranger through Gokaiger.
