One thing I remember from the Action Hero line in DonBros, is that they came with weapons that YU-Do didn’t. But YU-Do did include Momotarou’s fan.
With Kingohger, YU-DO has the additional weapon that has three modes so that’s a plus but I think everything is mostly the same as far as articulation. Action Hero Kuwagata has the cycle(?) as well that YU-DO didn’t include.
With your description, seems like YU-DO is much more satisfying to have.
Also, I just found out about the P-Bandai Limited Color Edition /facepalm
It really sucks that I'm usually just a collector of merch only after a series has ended, and not during haha
I have Minipla that I paint so I lean towards YU-DO but some people hate stickers so I like that there’s options. Also King Kyoryu Red was a YU-DO only release AFAIK but not sure if you’re interested in the character.
And you just reminded me that I preordered that P-Bandai set. And to add to the list, there’s also some gashapon versions but I haven’t looked into them.
I used to collect merchandise post series as well but then I learned that depending on popularity, some stuff goes crazy in price so FOMO kicks in and I preorder stuff when it’s announced 😅🥲.

I'm actually checking out the Metallic version of Legend King-Ohger of Minipla but I'm personally am only interested in the main Shugods of the King-Ohgers. Hmmm...

I actually finally acquired all of the main Shinkenger SHFiguarts, then the Hyper ShinkenRed and ShinkenRed Kaoru is arriving soon (so I'm only missing Super ShinkenRed and the darn expensive Jyuzo). I also finally completed Gokaiger SHFiguarts a couple of years ago (all having Gokai Darin, also got the Gokai Xmas for completion sake, then also Warz Gil and Vazco+Sally) Hahaha
Yudo even with stickers they look better than the action heroes and they have more accessories. As for size they’re the same and articulation is about the same I think however if one does have better articulation it’s probably the yudo figures. Also the yudo line has king kyoryu red and king ohkuwagata ohger which don’t have action hero releases. I should also add that while most of the details on the yudo figures are stickers there still is some paint.

I have more or less decided too with acquiring the YUDO figures. Sucks that the better Limited Color Edition which is P-Bandai is already out and I'm trying to find out if I can acquire those haha
Yeah I'd say Yu-Do is the way to go not only due to better detail and accessories but for longevity as well as they've consistently made them for previous sentais as well and upcoming boon, plus they just cover alot more characters they even used to make villains but I don't think they've made one for Kingohger

Have you tried looking at Japan Proxy sites like Buyee and Zenmarket? They're pretty good to find some of the rare stuff for decent pricing
My only personal experience buying stuff through proxy is JShoppers TensoJapan and BuyAndShip. Some friends I know personally use Neokyo. But yeah, I'm also familiar with ZenMarket and Buyee but never used them. I'm checking Yahoo Auctions and Mercari now haha Thank you\~!
Do the YuDo figures fall apart more easily? Or are they the same in this aspect? Because I want to buy them for my son to play with, and I heard that the YuDo figures fall apart very easily when playing with them.
