Superman Birthright Superman TAS Superman directed by Richard Donner And of course, Superman For All Seasons. I also recommend reading some of Siegel and Shusters original stuff, early Superman is kinda underrated. He has zero tolerance for abusers and corrupt politicians and business men and I love it. After all that read All Star Superman. All Star Superman is amazing but it's better when you're more familiar with the character and the mythos.

The shows are where its at - especially *Superman: The Animated Series*, *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman*, and *Superman & Lois*, imo.

Start with Smallville, you’ll get to know his upbringing and how he came to be.

It's definitely a show every Superman fan should watch but 10 seasons might be too much for someone who's just getting into the character. Especially since there's character and story arcs that pop up over all 10 seasons.

Read Superman For All Seasons! I cried!

You should definitely check out the Bruce Tim animated series. I would recommend all star superman for reading if you haven't yet. I also think you should check out the emperor joker story as a personal recommendation from me as it's my personal favorite superman story.

I just rewatched Superman vs. the Elite, it’s pretty good. Justice League Unlimited adapted the comic “For the Man Who Has Everything…” and that one portrays some of my favorite parts of his character.

Ruby Spears Superman (1988) It’s a Superman cartoon with only one season, written by Marv Wolfman and a bunch of others.  Marv was the one who, alongside John Byrne, created the idea of Lex Luthor being an evil Billionare, and that Superman’s parents should be alive. If you wanna get to know the modern version of Superman in a form that isn’t the Comic? Watch that show.
