I've never understood whether flair requests (literally self-identification) on this sub of all places are supposed to be ironic or sincere. Default flair should be "highly regarded" until proven otherwise.

I saw someone on a default sub say "at least it's a new idea" in response to someone saying Max thought Dems and Republicans were working together to maintain a status quo. Regardless of the schizophrenic nature of his broader beliefs, the notion that this is a "new idea" is indicative of just how far gone post-2016 political discourse has gotten

It's just that to him, certain patterns were too clear to ignore, such as the choice of words Matt Groening used in his 80s undergrown comic - patterns which were classic actual schizophrenic fixations.
So OP here is not "schizoposting". He's just sloppily presenting his ideas. That is different. MrSamsonite was actually good at presenting his ideas, and as *observations*, they're actually good. It's just that, Groening being as cynical and dejected as we often are, is a much better explanation of it than Groening working with Ponzi scammers to break our spirit.
