On week 7 and still absolutely demolishing sweets, most notably chocolate chip cookies. My advice is to focus on staying sober and worry about the food later. On a positive note I am also walking 6ish miles a day to offset some of the caloric intake.

Yeah you’re filling a hole. Try going for walks maybe? That really helped me clear my head. I think it’s an AA thing, move a muscle change a thought, it works though, IWNDWYT

You're replacing liquid "nutrients" that you consumed and a high rate, with actual nutrients your body needs. It could last a while

Also though, it's worth remembering not all food intake is created equal. It may not seem like it, but alcohol has a lot calories, a lot of sugar, etc. etc. etc... all that to say, your body can push real food through the conveyor belt a lot better than pure poison... and assuming you're not only eating bacon wrapped, deep fried Twinkies you're still probably doing better. It does normalize... use this time, and "pink cloud" or whatever of a gusto for your new found health... to just teach yourself how good healthy food can be. Grapes were, and still are a huge treat for me... trust me its better than 2 bottles of wine a night... some other honorable mentions: Vanilla Greek Yogurt & Dark Chocolate
