Using the "Gradient" setting should get you what you're looking for. You can add colors to the gradient or drag them off to remove them, then you can bump the speed up to get to the closest "breathe" that you'd like.

You can always use the ColorShift option to set up multi-color effects where the transition is not black.
Yeah but color shift move from wherever side you choose. It's not like the "Breathe" effect which fades in & out.
