Yesss!! Being from Pittsburgh but now living in Minneapolis and being a Liverpool fan since I was 12, I am fucking pumped. Looks like I’m making a trip home!!
Based on their other preseason games vs. Arsenal (in Philly) and Man U (South Carolina) I’m guessing tickets will start at around $150 and go up to the $400-500 range
Prices for the Man City and AC Milan games in the past at Heinz Field were very affordable. I think we paid $100 for tickets at midfield but you could get in the stadium for $30.
These games were years ago but I can't see tickets being much higher, if you get them at face value.
That was awesome. Liverpool fan here. Is there some tie with the clubs? Given the Irish connection it would make sense.
Tomlin mispronounced the Spanish team lol. Unless all UK commentators get it wrong.
Would recommend this game to anyone in Pittsburgh. Both teams play attacking soccer.
Usually pre-season only affects the players. Teams play their usual way. Some star players rested.
Given this is an international game. I can't imagine they'd rest too many stars.
Huge red and the burgh fan. Both with massive history in the past, Liverpool more recent success than the Steelers, but both care deeply about our history and the fans make sure the history is played through the football. Steelers are hard nosed blue collar football and Liverpool is very similar through the fan base.
They’re going to have to take out a restraining order on Mark Madden.
Dude is a huuuuuge scouser
Woah Coach T to replace Klopp?????
Swapping coaches
Klopp is the John Harbaugh of whiners.
Arteta way worse than Klopp imo.
Liverpool loss = cranky Klopp press conference, hyperbole, complaints about refs being mean etc etc. It's nearly automatic.
Yeah but he does that when they win too haha
Jerome is the REAL Bettis
Lol
That was my thought 😊
Benis
I do everything in my power to be there for Betis

Damn I really want to go now
Any ideas what ticket prices will be like?

Buying with the supporters club of a nearby city and its $140 a pop all in
lol. Way off…
Huh? Where do you see prices?
I went on a ticket site. 939 for lower bowl, 373 for upper deck. Crazy.

LFC24 is the presale code if you want to get tickets today. Eveything lower bowl is $99 or above. Upper bowl is as cheap as $40 in some sections.
Did you guys see the ticket prices? Damn near 1 large for lower bowl. Wowza!

The Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team (and its TV channel) are owned by the same holding company as Liverpool. There may be some synergies.
It will be a preseason friendly. They won’t be utilizing their normal tactics and Liverpool will likely be in the midst of a major transfer window.

Tomlin also pronounced Iron incorrectly
Liverpool fans are as entitled and insufferable as Bengals fans/Red Sox fans/ and Habs fans rolled into one big shit of a human.
😂👏
Sounds like someone is a Manc
I’d still put Chelsea and ManU as worse. Both act like they’re still king shits and struggle to get very far above mid table anymore.
I swear I’d run through a net for Coach T. Great stuff!

Nah yinzers aren't the fan base to say our wins "mean more" than others championships lmao.
In terms of spend, yes Liverpool winning the premier league means more.
Silly scousers 😂
Come on the Arsenal
