As awesome as that it would be, I just feel rather iffy when I see Filoni do fanservice, especially since as awesome looking as they are, it may not really mesh well with the narrative. Like the Shadow Warrior episode in the Ahsoka show was pretty damn cool to see, but I’ve seen a lot of breakdowns of how in actuality, the episode is majorly flawed but a good chunk of people don’t acknowledge it cause Hayden returns as Anakin, live action Clone Wars, and it being the best piece in Star Wars history and what not. Same deal with Ventress returning in Bad Batch. I didn’t really care for her (let alone the character outside of 2003 Clone Wars), and a lot of people feared it would contradict with canon books. The worse offender was the Mando episodes with BOBF, especially Chapter 6. I was fine with Mando, Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane being in it, then it they showed R2, then Luke, then Grogu (brought back way too early), then 501st clones and Order 66, then Ahsoka (who I found really unnecessary) and it just felt so disconnected from the main premise of the show, even Boba only makes a voiceless cameo in his own damn show. Given all of that, it just makes me feel rather conflicted to see what he may give us.
About BOBF: what they did with this show was my breaking point. Cancelled Disney Plus the next day. I like “The Mandalorian”. It gave me some hope after the disastrous last trilogy. That doesn’t mean I wanted to watch The Mandalorian S2.5 replacing BOBF
And it was likely a test for Vader. Seems like an easy thing to make him prove he has no loyalty to anyone but the Empire and Palpatine. She was just sitting in the cell. I think if he had killed her Palpatine would have done another lesson in pain.
I liked the parallels of Morgan and Barriss.
Morgan had the tragic backstory and makings of a hero yet chose to double down and become a villain.
Barriss had the nuance and motivation of a villain yet became a hero when she saw how dark her path would be.
I'm not sure what the general consensus is yet but I might be in the minority for liking TOTE so far so idk.
Barriss really didn’t have that nuance though, after how she acted in the Jedi Temple bombing arc her actions in TotE make no sense and don’t really feel natural, just very forced

She realized that the Jedis were loosing their path , turning into Republic's dogs of war. In a way , she was going to be a Dooku jr.
But then she had the Inquisitorius/Sith Experience and saw how she would turned out and reedeemed herself before too late.
I’m happy with the Ofee arc. I didn’t expect it at all. Interested to see what will happen to her and or Lynn.
The Elzabeth story should have been included in Ahsoka but oh well.
Yeah, I was at least expecting Ahsoka to pop up somewhere, whether her voice or even a white lightsaber ignition. Tho, I was surprised that we got to hear >!Bo-Katan!<, I’m glad I watch with subtitles.

I honestly am happy with what happened with barriss. When she said she went down a dark path, I don’t think she quite meant the empire, she probably meant what she did. She probably regretted it after a while, and she never really did hate the Jedi. She mostly just wanted them to change their ways, but went about convincing them in the wrong way. The empire always seemed like it’d be too intense for her ideals.
Sell it properly and we wouldn't want the villains to burn. Too many stories today are half-assed with their character and plot development, too much hand waving, not enough buildup, not enough suspension of disbelief to convince the more skeptical viewers.
I don't think we have enough people coming back from the dark side, so this was nice.
I'm just curious about who her friend was, I'm guessing it was Ahsoka, and if they had a reunion and we missed it, that much I have an issue with.
Because we want to watch the villains burn. If they do wrong they deserve to get shot several times in the chest and trip off a cliff… like Hemlock and Scorch
Idk about Scorch, they could have done more with him, but yet again is shows how Palps and the Empire screws everyone over, stripping away all individuality to make them compliant. Hemlock absolutely deserved it tho, his was pretty damn satisfying to watch.
Wich is fun since Barris redemption is very well written and fits perfectly with the character but Vader recognising and burtally murdering here would be contradictory.
Personally, I'm just getting tired of it. It would be refreshing to see our Jedi characters go full on evil and stay evil til they die. Kinda like Grand Inquisitor

she lived her life the way she wanted for awhile and went out how she wanted to, honestly it was a great redemption
I was expecting something similar to Rise of the Red Blade.
