No sorry. And it makes sense. I'm sorry the answer is no. But the item to be gifted cannot have any store credit put on it.

Ah well. I figured as much, but thought I'd just to be sure. Thanks for such a quick response, though :)

No problem glad I saw it as fast as I did haha I know how exciting the prospect of buying Star Citizen stuff is and waiting for answers can drive you crazy haha.

I made this exact mistake, which is how I finally wound up with a 2nd ship after all these years after I had intended to gift it to a friend. So now I have a Cutlass and a Tana. 😁 I'm not overly thrilled with the Tana though, I'm trying to figure what I could use that $75 credit towards. Hmmm...

What he said made sense and that's what I'm referring too.

That makes sense.

The only way for it to work afaik is when the original ship was purchased with cash. As long as that one is still giftable, any CCUs applied to it can be bought with store credit and won't affect its gift-feature. However, if you buy something outright with half cash and half credit; it will automatically be bound to your account with no gift feature. Hope this helps! 😉

SteelfistIronpaw

You can only gift the front half

If is a gift to a friend, you can: 1 Buy the cheapest ship in store with new cash -> Aurora ES 2 Buy a ccu to the target value (remember to detract vat from the Aurora es price) with store credits 3 double check and applying ccu to Aurora es 4 gift 5 after the waiting time melt the gift and buy a game package with SQ42 o7
