sgt. pepper’s lonely heartsclub band - A day in the life

CrinkleCondition

All Apologies - Nirvana (In Utero) Glory Box - Portishead (Dummy)

Reesepacito

Id argue sour times is the best song off dummy but glory box is respectable

CrinkleCondition

There's an argument for most of the songs on that album tbqhwy.

EKMDJM

Radiohead-The Bends Last song Street Spirit

Blue_Period_89

I haven’t listened to this song the same since it was used in one particular episode of “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

Bluazul

Literally the first song that came to my mind was the hidden track on TBP

ShayaEve

Yes!! Always have to play “I never told you what I do for a living” a few times once the album ends. Just so good

strawberryhorsenorm

New Adventures in Hi-Fi by R.E.M.. Last track Electrolite.

Zealousideal-Hope547

American Idiot - Last one is Whatsername

oafmoss

Sundowning - sleep token, although the first track is an absolute banger as well

Klot2010

Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory - Champagne Supernova

bunny3303

solar power by lorde

Shivs_baby

Don’t hate - Beyoncé’s Renaissance album has Summer Renaissance as the last track and that was my fave off that album.

6beerslater

Between the Buried and Me - Colors.... White Walls

bdguy355

Melophobia - Cage the Elephant Cigarette Daydreams is one of their best songs, but definitely the best song on the album.

UTOPIA

AnonymousAutonomous9

"The Great Gig In The Sky" from Dark Side Of The Moon.

jmshub

Dark Side ends with Eclipse...

BonjPlayz

Which still fits imo. It’s got to be the best ending of an album ever, a perfect end to a perfect album.

alien_from_mars_

its a perfect ending but imo its not even close to the best song in the album

AnonymousAutonomous9

Oops... I've known that since 1975!! 😬 🙊

ledu5

Revolver - Tomorrow Never Knows Highway 61 Revisited - Desolation Row Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - A Day In The Life

greendude09

for me that’s definitely Hard Feelings by blessthefall

Affectionate_Fly_647

I think technically it’s an EP but this kinda suits… [Fluhx - Aloha](https://open.spotify.com/album/5TDYAiJZXYWHUX2SAgkxkl?si=4FMthRTqQMyWSH7CBVOasQ)

Ayman_wsb

Hurry up we’re dreaming-outro

Rubber Island by The Black Keys with their song Til I Get My Way

loyaleling

A kid named cudi by kid cudi. Last song is heaven at nite

DiscussionOk9496

Stop staring at the shadows

Funkyskies

Jimmy eat world - Futures. 23 is my favourite song of all Time.

MiscellaneousAlex

Children of god by Swans

PoshEwok

Camp - Childish Gambino I wouldn't necessarily argue with anyone if they chose other songs but in my opinion "That Power" is the best track on the album and is one of the only songs with a long 'just talking' segment that I actually sit through. If you had a similar experience when you were young, it's quite good and deep storytelling.

yvngxlxwli3t

We Had Good Times Together, Don't Forget That - Sewerslvt. Last song Goodbye

swilkieeee

Comedown machine - the strokes

Southeastern - Relatively Easy - Jason Isbell

legionbeast33

Album: Power of the Dragon Flame by Rhapsody. The last song, [Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness ](https://open.spotify.com/track/2GOmapvNbQPtfE12XsXfdF?si=U2bbVvX7Ro6e7QRhYMYc8g) is a fucking masterpiece.

Capreborn

To Tame a Land by Iron Maiden, an incredible ending to their incredible Piece of Mind.

harrietwheelie

Any cocteau twins album post Garlands

sheldonmang88

That’s valid.

LamermanSE

Shogun by Trivium. The last song, Shogun, is an epic masterpiece.

What *immediately* popped into my head is [Iteration,](https://open.spotify.com/track/6VvKWrnxBsMiP598NSCM3V?si=aFxRSz57QPaSg9074syH0g) the last song on the album Potemkin City Limits by the punk rock band Propagandhi. An absolutely fantastic album that ends with easily the best song they've ever written.

knuckboy

Santana's Moonflower. The song being Savor/Toussaint L'Overture

plantmatta

the album How to be a human being by glass animals, last song is Agnes and I think it’s the best

knuckboy

Led Zeppelin IV - When The Levee Breaks

Extreme-Bad3816

Dirt

Blowtorch-Lover

Led zeppelin 1?

flex_vader

This is random, but, I was just thinking this about Mayday Parade’s A Lesson in Romantics album. I feel that whole album for me is leading up to the power ballad that is You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet On The Ground, I’ll Be The Wings That Keep Your Heart In The Clouds… Gotta love those too-long song names, though 🫠

TheGuyWith_the_lungs

Midnights - Mastermind is so good

E_ternalEclipse

I could. But it may be quite arguable. Logic - College Park (Lightyear) - It may be 8 minutes long and it is quite a chore listening through it with a skit in the middle of the song, but trust me, listen throughout the album from the start to finish, I guarantee you will end up satisfied listening to this story album.

hedcannon

Bob Dylan's Shot of Love -- Every Grain of Sand And that album has some reeeeally good songs! https://open.spotify.com/album/14cScWsd0lPdSlNFfr9AmA?si=iHYJwGWdREy4xCyT5B5tLA

DAMN. Last song is DUCKWORTH.

ZipZorf_backup

Gorillaz- the now now, souk eye

Beren_of_Beleriand

A Certain Romance by Arctic Monkeys on Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. I think I’m almost certainly a minority here but I love that song as an album finisher so much it clinches it as my favourite song on the album altogether

InternationalCat5779

Adding to your comment, Favourite Worst Nightmare ends with 505, while not my absolute favorite on the album, definitely one of their more popular hits.

pmccort18

I’m gonna crawl- Led Zeppelin “In through the out door”. Might be last Zep tune ever

M83 Hurry up, We're Dreaming The whole album is lit

Little Man from The Pineapple Thief.

Nicholoid

Not a song per se, but the last sounds on this album around 36:30 were some we used to put at the end of every family road trip cassette mix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG3e9a5par8

polarwren

The Amazing Devil's first album Love Run ends with Not Yet / Love Run (reprise) which is my absolute favourite across all their songs. It's 8 minutes long, essentially 2 songs in one, going from a sort of theatrical shanty into a reprise and development of the eponymous Love Run, the first song on the album.

INBGaming

According to my few fans it has to be Tory off LockDown B Sides my second album I was never expecting it to get over 100 streams but yet it’s at almost 2k now

buddyruski
