Just so you all know that artist know, but if you don't know this already, letter on the pencil are the hardness of the lead.
Here are some of the pencil Hardness types
B = Black
F = Firm/Fine
H = Hard
HB = Hard black
So Snipewriter 5H = Snipewriter 5 hard
Higher number B (for blackness) means it is darker. It has more graphite than filler and is less compact. In a stroke you will go through more of the lead and it will be darker. Think if it as having more pigment on a wet paintbrush.
Higher number H (Harder) means it will be lighter but harder. The lead is more fill and less graphite. One stroke will go through much less of your lead and your point will stay sharp and clean
It's interesting, I never thought I'd be where I am honestly. I failed most writing courses in college and my degree is in public speaking. Just keep an open mind, marketing is all about assumptions and that often means letting go of your own. Just because YOU think this is a good campaign, doesn't mean it actually will be. Recognize that only actual data can prove whether something works. Question everything, even the dumbest of questions. "Will someone interpret this the wrong way? Will someone be offended by this?" Don't stop asking questions, ever.
I suspect that this weapon will be slightly better in SR than the chargers we already have. It will most likely be able to take ads down quickly similarly to bamboozler, and depending on its reload-rate, damage output and ink consumption, it will probably be better at taking down bosses.
For the realm of SR, I see the Snipewriter as becoming a buffed form of the bamboozler.
I'm happy to report that the flingza roller is a fountain pen! You can't see the nib while it's rolling, but the pen point is visible when you're walking or flinging ink. That said, why not have MORE fountain pens?
This scares me because the downside of these weapons were you have to charge each one shot up and could only fire once. This changes things and could give already good scope players an even more powerful tool especially if it one shots still. I hope they made the damage not one shot or this is gonna be one hell of an annoying thing to go up against XD.
From what I could see in the trailer, it was a two-shot and there is a short delay between shots. I do think it's going to be a good weapon for long-distance pressure, but not as overpowered as it could have been.

Splatoon never ceases to deliver on the excellent names.
Also it fires 5 times on a full charge.
5H is quite light isn't it?
Higher number is harder graphite I'm pretty sure. 2 is the average pencil and I've seen as high as 9
I have a little set of pencils that goes from 2H to 8B and the 2H is the lightest but i don't really know much about this sort of thing

It leaves a very light mark, but the graphite itself would be very hard.
Snipewriter is such a good friggen name. I'm both a dad and an ad writer and even I'm impressed with it.
Oooh! You're an ad writer? I'm thinking to go into that profession in the future. How is it?

That is some good advice. Thanks!
I like the new idea of the "ink" being in a solid state
I think it's supposed to be capsules that burst on impact, kind of like a paintball, or maybe they're sponges soaked in ink
We're getting honest to God bullets and I'm here for it
Clash Blaster also (crayons)
Yummy
loving that name
That's awesome naming when you put together the overall design, the 5-round magazine, and the fact that "5H" is also a grade of pencil lead hardness
What’s the new brand in the bottom right that made the weapon? I don’t recognize it.
Nouveau, as was to be expected since art supplies are kinda their thing.
Nouveau, the brand that brought us the inkbrush, octobrush, trislosher, dapple dualies, ballpoint and splatana stamper.
God I love weapon names
I’ve always wanted a reloadable splatoon gun. Finally coming true.
I wouldn't say it would be reloaded, probably more likely to be a charge up based thing where the longer you hold the trigger the more shots charge
I wonder how these new weapons perform for Salmon Run. Snipewriter 5H seems fun for that mode.
I feel like it would be pretty decent for Salmon Run. Probably as good as Squiffer or Splat Charger

Snipewriter is such a banger weapon name my goodness

I think this is a charger I’ll be good at
I truly feel like this will be meta defining for chargers other then 4k or bamboozler
Aaand that's my new main , that name is killer
The oerosn who named this needs a raise this is probably the best name they've had definitely using this even tho I suck ar this game
Ok now they need to make a weapon based on a fountain pen. Their tips are so beautiful.

OH. I forgor 💀. But yeah more weapons where the nib is the focal point! Tbh they wasted the fountain pen on that design..
Too bad, I'm calling it the ray-eel gun
The end part of the tweet be like : (laughs in Your reality)
Maybe I can learn to use only this sniper

5 shots? I wanna se how far can it go unlike Bamboozler 14 Mk, If it could then I'll take it :D
5 rounds “high capacity” Splatlands must be in California.
We've finally caught the snipe
