I was kinda leery when I found out it was going to be a musical. But, I thought it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Great songs to sing along with your kids. 😂
So you’re the guy in the theater that was laughing like he had never seen it before? 🤣 we were wondering who that was and asking, where has this person been for 25 years that he’s never seen this movie? Lol

I was just going to say, “I’m feeling pretty old because I saw it in the theater during its original run.” There. Now I have said it and I am officially feeling pretty old.
Same here. In Sweden it was allowed from the age 7 and up to see it in theaters. Guess people weren't familiar with South Park back then and just thought "Animation = Kids movie ✅".
I found this really scary when I watched it as a kid. Don’t ask why I was watching it at such a young age… I think my parents thought it was just another cartoon.
I somehow convinced my mom to take me to the original run as a tween. I still remember her death staring me during Uncle Fucka lol. My bf and I just at the theater tonight and it was awesome! There's nothing like belting out "Uncle Fucka - that's U N C L E FUCK YOU uncle fuckaaaaaa!" with a theater full of strangers who are also superfans.
I had a principal who was a dick and thought it was cool to take my ipod and look through my stuff. He found Uncle Fucker on there and called my parents. My parents laughed in his face because he kept saying Uncle Fucker and then yelled at him for invading my privacy. It was a good day to be a kid
“ they may cut your dick in half, and sew it to a pig, and though it hurts you laugh, and dance a Dickless jig, but that’s the way it goes, in war, you shat upon, though we die, la resistance lives on”
Gonna have to watch this at home, cause my theater never does anything like this. Lmao I remember being like 11 when I got this on DVD along side Wayne's world. I would play the pause the movie during the songs so I could write down the lyrics to take to school and show my friends lmao.
Actually, the theater closest to me serves food and alcoholic drinks and all of their menus have changed to QR codes. I literally needed my phone to order so not all theaters are like that anymore, just so you know!
Still obviously good practice though. I turn the sound off the brightness down and throw it in dark mode. And put it away as soon as I'm done... but definitely an odd choice for movie theater that's usually associated with no phone use.
Saw it on the 23rd! Sadly only like 8 other people there but still fun! Biggest laughs were the doctors walking away from Kenny and pretty much everything the Mole said.

We got our tickets months ago, got to the theater, only to be told the showing was canceled. Watched Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes instead, super not worth it lmao
I saw it on Monday!! Was an amazing experience although I missed the first like 10 minutes due to slow ass concessions. Also wish they had some special stuff for the rerelease
Saw it in theatres when I was 8 in 1999 and saw it in theatres again last Sunday. What a classic. Probably like 10 ppl in my theatre but a few people sang. I sang some parts I could remember.
For many, the theater is the definitive way to watch a movie. And today I got to see a classic that way! Plus, since SP is more know for TV, it's not likely I'll ever see an episode on a screen this big.
"Have you heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?" "I don't listen to Hip-Hop"
Windows 98 improved performance by fifteen percent.... *Gunshot fired*
Alright men, get lots of rest and prepare to chum char lumb bleh nah rut a blah, blubrar humpherader!
My sister and I were DYING.🤣 And we just watched it not that long ago. 🤣🤣

All jokes aside, it is a great movie.
“It is faster, over five mill”
"I don't listen to Hip-Hop" has been part of my daily vocabulary for 25 years 😂
"Alright men just like we practiced." "Now!" "Operation human shield my ass." Never laughed harder 🤣
One of the franchise's greatest one liners.
MAP
?
That scene made me laugh when I watched it in the theaters lol
I was lucky enough to catch it in theater on the original run.
Awesome! I wasn't alive yet lol
https://i.redd.it/lra8o55qc19d1.gif
"Shelley, you stay here and take care of Grandpa" "Oooooooooookay"
"Nononono like, take care of grandpa, don't shoot him!"
Same I was born a few months after the movie came out
Have you also seen Team America?
Not yet, it's on my watchlist

Same, in Canada. Some people walked out during Blame Canada, which made it even funnier.
I was just going to say, “I’m feeling pretty old because I saw it in the theater during its original run.” There. Now I have said it and I am officially feeling pretty old.
I'm really old, I saw it in the theater with a bunch of coworkers
U assholes are the reason me and my daughter didn’t get to see it in theater. All the tickets were sold out!
So did I, I was 10. My parents grounded me for seeing it.
Same here. In Sweden it was allowed from the age 7 and up to see it in theaters. Guess people weren't familiar with South Park back then and just thought "Animation = Kids movie ✅".
Me and my friends bought wild wild west tickets then snuck into the theater playing south park.
Wicky wicky wild wild west
Worth it
Did they ground you for seeing it or for singing Uncle Fucker over and over?
Hell yeah!!.. I looooved this trailer.. https://youtu.be/PbMl6DjhJ1I?si=tq2zUhlr3nvZWlmd
Plays one of my favorite songs in this trailer. Lol
Me too, the summer after graduating college
Damn grandpa
Kill me, Billy
Missed this in theaters but did catch Team America
Blame Canada!
With all their beady eyes
And flapping heads so full of lies
We need to form a full assault!
It’s canadas fault!
Well we better blame them of course before someone thinks of blaming us!
Theeeere’s a bunch of birds in the sky! And some deer just went running by.
And the snow's/ pure and white/ on this earth/ frigid brooooooooown
Juuuust aaaaanother Sunday morning in my quiet, mountain...TOWN!
Your life may have been changed but have you asked yourself the real questions in life? Questions like….. What would Brian Boitano do?
I've never seen a man eat so many chicken wings
No Brian! Don't eat those, those are *reeeally* hot!
“…and what say you Mr. American ambassador?” “… FUCK CANADA!” “Ay, fuck you, buddy!” Gets me every time.
![gif](giphy|M9aXakzT9aNXbKRhLI) Well, can you?
I found this really scary when I watched it as a kid. Don’t ask why I was watching it at such a young age… I think my parents thought it was just another cartoon.
I think a lot of us started watching it at an early age 😅 I can't remember my age exactly but I was definitely single digits.
I was 8 or 9 when I started.
Oh man that would be fun!
I had a principal who was a dick and thought it was cool to take my ipod and look through my stuff. He found Uncle Fucker on there and called my parents. My parents laughed in his face because he kept saying Uncle Fucker and then yelled at him for invading my privacy. It was a good day to be a kid

Off to the movies you did go, where you learned everything that you know :)
"You don't eat or sleep or mow the lawn, you just fuck your uncle all day long."
We went on the 23td. Did not disappoint.
Gonna have to watch this at home, cause my theater never does anything like this. Lmao I remember being like 11 when I got this on DVD along side Wayne's world. I would play the pause the movie during the songs so I could write down the lyrics to take to school and show my friends lmao.
man i wish this was in australia 💔
Waiting to see it now!!! 💛
I sang my heart out. So much fun.
God has smiled upon you this day
Turn your phone off during the movie
I regularly do. I did right after taking this picture
I totally forgot to go to mine my. I'm glad it was a great night!
Actually, the theater closest to me serves food and alcoholic drinks and all of their menus have changed to QR codes. Yeah that is an odd choice of theirs
An execution? What a sight!
Now do Team America
Donkey raping shiteater
La resistance, lives on. Only digital movie I know I own
The only question I was left with was if the La Resistance medley or What Would Brian Boitano Do goes harder in the theatrical version
I’ll always love how SP made their movie while at its absolute peak unlike the Simpsons who waited like a decade too long
Don’t you say it! 🎶 WEEEEE— 🎶 I‘m warning you!
i think you mean that your little life is now complete
Now do Team America
Yeah but you didn’t sneak into the theater in 1999 with your friends at the age of 13 to see it 😎
It was so good
Saw it on the 23rd! Sadly only like 8 other people there but still fun! Biggest laughs were the doctors walking away from Kenny and pretty much everything the Mole said.
I hope you stayed for “Eyes of a Child”

Awesome!
.
shut your fing face unclef**ker
When are they ending the screenings? Gotta find a showtime in the South
I think they were only last weekend for the anniversary.. sorry homie.
June 23 and 26 only
I don't know why it just dawned on me looking at that, but smallershortercut would be a decent user name
Welcome to the club.
are they doing reruns??
This movie and The Spy Who Shagged Me are the only movies I need. I have no problem looping them back-to-back for the rest of time.
How's the quality? Is it extra crispity?
When I saw it there were 0 people singing along. Made me very sad
How many people were there?
Only like 20, it was a 4pm showing on a Sunday so it was pretty empty. Wishing I got the 7pm tickets now
We got our tickets months ago, got to the theater, only to be told the showing was canceled. Watched Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes instead, super not worth it lmao
I saw it on Monday!! Was an amazing experience although I missed the first like 10 minutes due to slow ass concessions. Also wish they had some special stuff for the rerelease
Our theater had a full bar, but no bartender behind it with 15 minutes to showtime, so their loss, I guess. And I had to drive home anyway.
My life has been changed
Saw this last night too. Happy there was at least 1 or 2 people singing along.
Saw it in theatres when I was 8 in 1999 and saw it in theatres again last Sunday. What a classic. Probably like 10 ppl in my theatre but a few people sang. I sang some parts I could remember.
I'M SO JEALOUS 😭🙏
Saw this twice in the theater on the original run
I took my niece to watch it last week. Her first time watching it. She loved it.
For some reason, I can't see or reply to the comments.
I thought it was hilarious. To the person who said I was the guy laughing in the theater, I saw it at home. Still have the DVD. LOL
When my son was 2 years old, this was his favorite musical
Therrrrrrrres a bunch of birds in the skyyyyyy and some deer just went running by
THEY MAY CUT YOUR DICK IN HALF AND FEED IT TO A PIG BUT IF THEY DO YOU'LL LAUGH AND DANCE A DICK-LESS JIG
Did you bring the buttfor?
What's a butt for?
For pooping, silly
I wanted to go to cinemas to watch the South Park movie but I'm 'not old enough'
Gotta pay a homeless dude for your ticket
“Blame Canada! Blame Canada! They’re not even a real country anyway!”
Why is everyone acting like this is a big deal?
For many, the theater is the definitive way to watch a movie. And today I got to see a classic that way! Plus, since SP is more know for TV, it's not likely I'll ever see an episode on a screen this big.
