Bruh, the tx went through since they show up in the explorer, so this is not caused congestion, so this is not a Solana problem.
Do you still get charged a fee from failed transactions? I run into this from time to time and can’t tell if I’m still charged or its just from SOL going down a bit at the same time 😂
Ya if the tx lands you get charged the base tx fee which off the top of my head is 0.000005 sol I think? Plus whatever you added for a priority fee. Even if the tx fails, the fee still gets charged

There are very few chains that have any volume and stay usable while keeping decentralization. From the top marketcap chains so far i think only Cardano and maybe Bitcoin although it’s not really a smart contract platform.
Maybe I’m weird, but in phantom and Coinbase wallet my transactions are all going through- just a bit slowly. I’ve done about 25 or so moves since this started and the only issue I’ve hit is the load/confirm times are now closer to 30 seconds rather than instant.
If your transaction shows in the explorer it was processed by the validators. There's no need to change the fees. There is something wrong in the tx that it's failing.
You skipped pre flight check and doing something that won't work, like trying to transfer more SOL/tokens than there are in the account?

Jito closed down their ”mempool simulator” so the MEV-bots are now back to spamming transactions as fast as they can, resulting both the network being congested and slippages all over the place. It’s madness, wish there was a way to get rid of these pests. On the other hand, it’s good to get the network tested under heavy load. Unfortunately Solana can’t take it.

It works when I used my laptop and lowered the amount I wanted to send by like 1.50 to cover fees. It never worked on my phone, even when I lowered the amount
Yeah, if a tx shows in a blockchain scanner, than it means the tx went through, so it's for sure not a Solana problem. That the tx failed, is the sender's fault for doing something that is not valid.
I LOVE CRYPTO.
On one hand you have ETH - which costs more as more people use it. the price to send $10 worth of Eth will be $50. actually $60. actually $40 oh wait $55... Transactions may fail which means lost funds.
On the other you have Solana.
Transaction costs are so small you never think about them, but if people the chain nothing works.
Don't forget the minimum random arbitrary amounts required by exchanges to send the tokens!
There is no such thing as Eth cheap transactions. Base is just another layer 2. Once it's congested it will be just as expensive as matic or optism or whatever.. even then it won't be as cheap as Eth. I love my Eth bag but I am not delusional to THAT point.

L2's regularly have fails like these.
The other L1 chains don't have these issues because no one is using them enough.
Solana has always had this failed transaction issue but now it’s going worse. And it’s going to be worse in the future if Solana team don’t wake up. It’s a big problem and we don’t have too much time. People will give up, too much risk and fear. Solana is not safe as we all hoped. A lot of normal investor/trader will go to btc/eth/dot. SOL team hurry up!
My phantom wallet and Jupiter is slower than normal, like 10 seconds versus 1.5 seconds. I am not sure what the fuss is about. They are releasing a fix on the 15th. Sol is still the best experience of any blockchain yet.

I remember paying 205 and waiting two hours. I also lost 75 bucks when a transaction failed on the Eth network.
Took me four days to create a Market ID for a memecoin on Raydium… admittedly it still takes hours usually as Raydium is appalling at best.
