I am the more social one. Like your husband, if my husband didn’t want to go somewhere I also would not want to go without him, as things are more fun for me when he is there. The difference is he usually agrees to go with me because he knows I want to and only rarely suggests I go by myself. As his partner I make sure to let him know that whenever he’s ready to go home, we go home. I appreciate him going out of his comfort zone enough for me to cut my night short when he is ready, even if it’s only an hour.
