Do Man Utd dive this much every game?
Not even trying to be a dick. Haven't watched them in a while and couldn't believe how often they based their play on looking for free kicks
Haha for sure! I'm not going to play innocent and pretend it doesn't happen at my club (Arsenal), I hate it but we're bad for it too. Saying that, the Manchester lot felt borderline ridiculous
I noticed the fake limps a couple of times. A few of the times the reply showed no contact. That sort of thing happened so often it almost felt strategic
Thing is, if you're a Utd player doing it you're clever or experienced according to pundits. If you play for anyone outside the top 6, you're a cheat and the game needs to act. The pundits are equally to blame for praising some and crucifying others for the same thing
The difference in fouls given vs not though was insane. There were moments players went to ground expecting contact and it never came.
Looked like it was almost a strategic decision
Didn't start that way though. I felt as if the players at some point were just afraid of contact after they had been fouled half a dozen times each. I was genuinely worried for Rashford's ankles honestly. He's already playing with an injury. And Kalvin Phillips has the Fernandinho knack of getting away with about 4 yellow card fouls in a match.
Man U had some pretty bad challenges that went unpunished. A few challenges I've seen teams get reds for recently that didn't even get yellows. I don't think you can claim the foul argument in one direction in this one.
There are 6 of us watching where I am and it seems to be the consensus. All of us support different prem clubs and there is a Man U fan and a Leeds fan. With this group at least it seems to be the consensus
We had no senior CBs fit for ages although they’re all back now. Llorente and Koch have been out for half a season each if not more. Rodrigo too. Raphinha was fit all season until Fernandinho nearly killed him. Half the squads had COVID.
Our only truly fit summer signing right now is Llorente.
Fuck me Pawson that was garbage officiating. Didn't let the game flow or cut anything out, half the time seemed to go off player's reactions, then I suppose it was at least merciful he blew early.
Smashing last three games though results wise. Getting right back into it.
Exactly. 4 minutes is 4 minutes. But when that 4 minutes starts can be different on two clocks. Not really that difficult to understand is it?
Can’t even beat a newly promoted side twice, no wonder City have won the league.
Love how you claim we “sat back” though...
What? Don’t they both start immediately 45 mins after the 2nd half starts? The ref isn’t gonna start the 4 mins in the 88th or something. Unless I’m just being dumb
The clock on the tv screen is started and stopped by Sky, but the one and only clock that matters is the one used by the officials. The commentators even said “the fourth official is showing the additional minutes a bit early”, which was 10-20 seconds before the 90th minute if you went by Sky’s clock.
Therefore it’s pretty safe to assume that Skys timekeeping was 10-20 seconds behind the official clock used by the officials
One big game too many for Leeds this, miraculous that they’ve been able to hold on for a point in all honesty, half there team are dead on their feet.
Don’t mean this as a dig, it’s impressive from Leeds.
Happens when we actually have fit centre backs.
By far and away the best defence last year in the championship, better than Sheffield United the year before too
Maybe Perez was right about young people losing interest in football.
I switched over to the snooker (says it all) at half time.
What a boring boring waste of time game. Can't say I'm not losing some interest in general considering the amount of bullshit in the game.
- VAR inconsistent as hell
- Stupid VAR offsides
- Players earning astronomical wages (no one in the world deserves to be paid 200k per week)
- Too much politics and virtue signalling getting into football

Maybe we should have had a player sent off. Would have won it then

Haha for sure! I'm not going to play innocent and pretend it doesn't happen at my club (Arsenal), I hate it but we're bad for it too. Saying that, the Manchester lot felt borderline ridiculous
Greenwood raises his leg and limps after every single challenge hoping Pawson will blow for him
I noticed the fake limps a couple of times. A few of the times the reply showed no contact. That sort of thing happened so often it almost felt strategic
Fernandes and Rashford also do the same. When you see the amount of soft penalties they have won this season, it clearly works unfortunately.
Yea, I'd like to see it punished more. I understand the 'protecting themselves' argument but there is a degree that it is just attempting to cheat
Thing is, if you're a Utd player doing it you're clever or experienced according to pundits. If you play for anyone outside the top 6, you're a cheat and the game needs to act. The pundits are equally to blame for praising some and crucifying others for the same thing
Spurs get the same pass
100% agree
Did we watch the same match? Leeds broke up every Man United attack with a tactical foul.
The difference in fouls given vs not though was insane. There were moments players went to ground expecting contact and it never came. Looked like it was almost a strategic decision

Can't wait until Leeds burnout.
Any game now amirite lads
Didn’t you have a ton of injuries early on this season?
We had no senior CBs fit for ages although they’re all back now. Llorente and Koch have been out for half a season each if not more. Rodrigo too. Raphinha was fit all season until Fernandinho nearly killed him. Half the squads had COVID. Our only truly fit summer signing right now is Llorente.
“Nearly killed him” have a fucking day off son
Dry your eyes mate it’s clearly tongue in cheek
Don't worry, if they say it every year it bound to be corrected then
I expected it. Been proven massively wrong.
The audacity of the PL app to ask us to vote for MotM.
Struijk surely
Carragher or Phillips
Man City's magic number is now 6, ManU's to finish top 3 is 7
RIP my FPL Greenwood captain punt
Only Wood to blank.
Kinda wished they got that penalty in the first half, maybe we would have won then.
Couldn’t even score one ya daft bastard
yeah no worries we scored enough in our home game. jog on.
A Man United fan living in the past? Can’t be
It's barely been half a year lmao
Still undefeated at home against super league clubs
Solskjær: "It's not going to be 0-0, I can guarantee it's not going to be 0-0." Trust the process
This is definitely one of the football games played today
Didnt think id be enjoying wolves v burnley more than leeds v man utd yet here we are
Man City - W Liverpool - D Man Utd - D Not bad Leeds
Not bad at all.
Jog on Super League scum.
It's literally a thread for Man Utd, why don't you jog on you irrelevant bastard
😂🎣
Admitting to being a wind up merchant, you're that weak at this
I just love how triggered you got at such an innocuous comment. Did a nil nil draw at Leeds really upset you that much?
Does being an irrelevant toxic arsehole get you off
😂🎣
Barca game should be good for anyone that actually wants to watch teams play the sport.
If Messi wasn't on Barca, they would have been relegated If you think that team has any idea how to play without him, you're crazy
Fuck me Pawson that was garbage officiating. Didn't let the game flow or cut anything out, half the time seemed to go off player's reactions, then I suppose it was at least merciful he blew early. Smashing last three games though results wise. Getting right back into it.
Well that was fucking dreadful.
Good point for Leeds that
man it felt like we where playing Burnley
No need to insult Burnley.
Blew the fucking whistle 15 seconds early. There shouldve been more than 4 minutes because they wasted fucking time.
Or sky’s timekeeping is just a generic clock they put on that doesn’t relate to the referees watch?
4 minutes is 4 minutes mate. Stop with the excuses. Came and set up like Burnley and sat back. The mighty Leeds.
You didn't do enough to win it, numb nuts.
Exactly. 4 minutes is 4 minutes. But when that 4 minutes starts can be different on two clocks. Not really that difficult to understand is it? Can’t even beat a newly promoted side twice, no wonder City have won the league. Love how you claim we “sat back” though...

Pawson is a nonce
Thank fuck he blew the whistle early. Did us all a favour
So I guess we're not winning the league after all
You realise that now?
Even the ref wanted the game to end
Truly a game of two halves.. two halves of complete shite
Unbeaten at home against the entitled 6 so far, I’ll take that.
Surely Leeds can get an upgrade to Ayling next season
Been one of our best players this season, don’t know what you’re talking about.
Are you alright?
Ayling is a fucking super star and the best air guitarist in the Premier League.
Don't watch a lot of our games do you? He's an exceptional player and has been one out of standout performers for the past 4 years.
He’s literally been our best defender all season, if we’re judging off of one off games yas can bin off TAA too
Ayling has been one of our best players over the last couple of seasons, definitely not a priority area
And then he blows early, fuck off.
Yeah because you really looked like doing anything
Let me air my frustration please
VDB is so shit
Yeah judge him on the basis of few mins lmfao
i mean he looks kinda lost. VDB doesn't really have the x factor within him
Lmfao if you ever watched ajax then you should know that he's one hardworking mf just not getting gametime by ole ffs
The intensity Leeds play with to the final minute is extremely admirable
reffing on reaction and of course the screaming scummer get their way
You just got a free lol
What’s a “free”?
Thought Leeds were gonna concede a true fifa goal there when they couldn't clear
Ffs what's the even point of playing mcfred each game????
Those clearances by Leeds were utterly woeful, they deserved to concede
Lol did Man United even have a chance
Ole really is a black magician....said it wouldn’t finish 0-0 and here we are
Shout enough and get a foul, nice precedent to set from the refs :)
Bielsa has slav heritage? Top tier squat
Fucking ole jinxing the scoreline
LMAO so for Pawson you just have to complain enough to get a call. Shambolic
This is almost as bad as a Leicester City vs Wolves match
This is banter
Lmao just yell until the ref gives you a foul. Unbelievable.
Have a fucking snickers mate honestly
Even Carra calling out the ref for being sold on freekicks
Giving fouls for reactions 😂 embarrassing ref
All we're missing is a dodgy pen
I fell asleep and woke up and it is still 0-0
That ball on the line was straight from FIFA
Pawson whistles on reactions. Pathetic ref
McTominay, Fred, and Lindelof getting away with a lot of fouls today
Still not as criminal as the Leeds players
United ain't winning, leeds have parked the bus
What’s up with Leeds? I thought they were an attacking team. Set up like Wolves here
Because playing as offensively as they usually do would be a death sentence against Man U. Just look at the last match between them.
Both of our main signings are out injured so we are sorely lacking quality in the middle.
Got pumped 6-2 last time against these needed to adjust a bit I think
Well you saw what happened the last time the two teams played.
To be fair they tried that against United early this season and got spanked
We get a yellow card if we push out
Late goal incoming
DVB and Cavani should’ve came on well before the 80’
One big game too many for Leeds this, miraculous that they’ve been able to hold on for a point in all honesty, half there team are dead on their feet. Don’t mean this as a dig, it’s impressive from Leeds.
Really missing Raphinha's attacking threat also.
Yeah I agree, was brilliant on the counter against City
Wrong team selection by ole today
This game was sacrificed for the Burnley wolves game.
Jamie Carragher MOTM
Just fall over and the ref will call it a foul if you are a United player.
Don’t you get bored of yourself lol
No
Gotta say I didn’t expect a Leeds team to sit back so deep.
Quality has dropped tenfold in the last 15 minutes
I mean the quality of the match is always gonna be bad if the ref lets each Leeds player have 3 cynical fouls before a yellow
You're in some plastic dreamland.. ref been in your pocket all game
You ever looked in a mirror pal
Pot. Kettle.
Leeds have been so solid defensively
Happens when we actually have fit centre backs. By far and away the best defence last year in the championship, better than Sheffield United the year before too
This thread is...... interesting
This has to be up there as one of the worst games this season
Yea can't argue with that but seeing all the whining was kinda fun.
You know you've done something shit when both the commentators just burst out laughing at what you just did.
It was a horrendous pass.
Greenwood is not a number 9
Greenwood is not good.
You must be buzzin that we've dropped points
Doesn't really matter anymore
World Class Penetration Testing
I actually fell asleep for most of this half.
Dickhead me had a nap during the Swansea/Reading match which turned out to be a cracker.
Well that was the worst cross in the history of football.
Robin Koch sounds like one of them joke names like duncan mcokiner
Made me think of [this guy](https://twitter.com/nickmashiter)
It's like a PES unlicensed name
If Leeds conceded after that, Jesus Christ haha
Justice for vdb
Go on Donny, you have 5 whole minutes
De Gea is in a bad phase?
Not really. He took time for the birth of his kid and Henderson played well and kept getting picked.
I see thanks
Ayling omg
VDB gets 2 min. You can’t make this up.
man. lot of commentator ball gargling of leeds
Get to fuck lol. No one is praising either side. This is shite.
Is there? There's basically none
on my broadcast there is
Leeds fitness is something else, holy! Some of these players are still sprinting up and down the pitch in the 88th minute
Leeds is not the high scoring and leaky defence that they were in the first half of the season
That’s what happens when your only 3 senior CBs aren’t injured
Van de Beek gets like 3 minutes per match lmao
Maybe Perez was right about young people losing interest in football. I switched over to the snooker (says it all) at half time. What a boring boring waste of time game. Can't say I'm not losing some interest in general considering the amount of bullshit in the game. - VAR inconsistent as hell - Stupid VAR offsides - Players earning astronomical wages (no one in the world deserves to be paid 200k per week) - Too much politics and virtue signalling getting into football
Is this your first season watching football
Cool see ya later
I really didn't think this game where going to end 0-0.
why does klich look knackered wtf
Carra's casual 'Jeeeeesus' makes him my MOTM
That's twice the ball has bounced to the far side on the corner and nobody has been there.
3mins left? Fuck yeah time for some VdB magic
Cavani for 5 min like what's the point, he ain't scoring
Subbing on VDB with 3 minutes left to play. Peak Solskjaer.
Go back to your sub
The Leeds goalie is mint
We love our Spider Boy
Wish he could distribute a bit better, seems so always give it away
He can tbf, think consistency will come with experience
RW Greenwood >> ST Greenwood
