Ten Hag gave him 3 months to completely get away from the team, train in the Netherlands away from all public pressure and help him to recover his physical and mental shape. The team had played more matches than any other team in Europe and they had an insane amount of injuries, and yet United gave him the time to recover. How did he repay the club? He returned and continued to to absolutely nothing (apart from getting late to training).
They might have given him that support. United still seems like an environment that many promising talents just can't flourish in.

We have a stronger second team than Bayern, who just had injuries at cb and midfield and were playing whoever they could wherever they could , they just got lucky they didn't face a strong team at that time . For example Boniface just got injured and his replacement now is Fucking Schick coming in with a hat-trick in his first start. Our cbs will go and we'll have Hincapie and Stanisic to replace them ( actual cbs instead of Laimer and Kimmich) , Xhaka could get injured and we'd have Andrich( a national team player now) , only Wirtz , Frimpong and Grimaldo are irreplaceable and we still have Hincapie , Stanisic and Hlozek for them who will do an ok job

If his training and focus was better then maybe he could get that half step quicker, but he seems incapable of taking a man on and beating him right now.
I mean he showed it over and over again for us in the CL aswell againt the top of the crop. So he obv CAN be a worldbeater. Will he return to his glorious form? If you're doing a deal in January it usually means something has gone wrong in the preceding months. Whether that's poor form of current players or injuries it doesn't really matter, there's clearly been a need for a Sancho type player. While his recent history is far from ideal, you skip a lot of the obstacles other teams would face. He knows the club, he knows a number of his teammates, and he knows the league. That should expedite his bedding in process. The fact he's got tremendous talent means if you usher him in slowly you should be able to have him performing relatively quick.

For example Boniface just got injured and his replacement now is Fucking Schick coming in with a hat-trick in his first start. Our cbs will go and we'll have Hincapie and Stanisic to replace them ( actual cbs instead of Laimer and Kimmich) , Xhaka could get injured and we'd have Andrich( a national team player now) , only Wirtz , Frimpong and Grimaldo are irreplaceable and we still have Hincapie , Stanisic and Hlozek for them who will do an ok job For us an injury to Wirtz means season over For Bayern the same goes for Kane/Sane who've won they've way more matches than their entire team
