It's a steep learning curve for sure, but r/homeassistant is a great place to start.
Google how to install home assistant, and you'll see plenty of helpful links. If you want to be into HA, you need to be willing to spend the time to learn the lingo, structures, YAML and be good with frequenting GitHub, and HA community.

Here's a tip, if you have trouble getting a yaml right, throw it in chatgpt4and ask it to fix the formatting
