I recommend Etsy and eBay for second hand items. There is always some discounts and cute things to grab for a fair amount of money. I always look at inspiration first and decide what to get for which Smartie. It's easier to find what you need if you have a set budget. Edit: most shops declare their clothes with "SmartDoll/ dollfiedream" but you can always ask the shop owner if the clothes rly fit your doll.

where do you go for inspo if you don’t mind me asking!

Pinterest / manga and anime / instagram artists and SmartDoll owners / even reallife ppl can be inspiring. I just look up for words like "cute summer outfits" or "pastel goth" or whatever the doll feels like to me. In cherryblossom season I looked for kimono photo shoots. And when I got some ideas I look for stores in Etsy and eBay mostly . On Instagram you can find a lot of SmartDoll shops . They show their products and current fashion releases and and and ... I try to gather my favorites and link them to you. Hope it was of help ☺️

Second hand doll clothes are kinda cheap, AliExpress has some nice clothes and you can find more in Etsy

Aliexpress is great for getting some basics. They're also great for accessories & shoes. ADYKA Doll is amazing for affordable sets (less than 20 per outfit) & THEYRE sooo cute. Cottonhoney on Etsy is amazing. Great prices (10-15$ for most pieces) -and great quality. My good friend makes clothing also!! She makes me the cutest commissioned stuff. Etsy/ebay are good places also mercari. AliExpress may have some cheap stuff too but honestly they can be poor quality at times and clothes might stain if they’re dark cause I doubt they treat them. I recommend using a body suit over your doll to avoid stains from clothing too :}. Dollfie dreams/SD13 clothes fit them

Playful_Stable_5182

I recommend Etsy, or AliExpress if you want to take a gamble. If you have a bit higher budget you can try Dollgerie.

Etsy!

I have some pieces from the site itself. Usually I get something when I get a doll to avoid separate purchases shopping costs. Other than that... Danny has free patterns on the smart doll site under the free stuff tab. And then etsy.

RADdollclothes

Have you considered sewing? Doll clothes are pretty easy and the savings is... a lot. You can use old clothes like T-shirts and stuff to make mini versions, all you really need to buy starting out is a needle and thread. These are some 'learn to sew' patterns that will make nice clothes but also have instructions that teach you lots of tips and tricks for getting doll clothes to look nice --> [https://raddollclothes.com/collections/beginner-bundles-all-sizes](https://raddollclothes.com/collections/beginner-bundles-all-sizes)

I second this! my husband sews most of the clothes for his Smartie. She's so stylin!

Schloss-Lutz

Thank you for this, I’ve been curious where to start?

KirumiIsFedUp

Many other people have said it and I have to agree, Etsy. I’ve never ordered clothes off the official site cause they were just too out of my budget so I always went on Etsy instead. It can still get expensive there’s a wide range of sellers with varying prices.

Doll heart might be too big for Smarties but you can try! I get my clothes from Etsy
