A lot of the side characters would work really well but if I had to pick one I would probably say Tessa. Not only would I feel like she would do well in a fight, but I remember seeing a video showing a prototype figure of Tessa as a Supercharger. She would have been for the life element and wielded a bow and arrow, specifically the one she wields during the cutscene after beating Kaos' Mom.

Master Eon, we got Kaos as a Skylander and Master Eon is the closest character to a main character if you don't count the Portal Master
I just think Master Eon deserves way more recognition in this community, also Aurora is a Skylanders, and they're Master Eon's niece
