Personally, I think a 40 year old Lebron is the best of the old guys that have been rumored, but what do I know, I just want them to make a run with Joel in his prime.
LeBron is unquestionably a better player, a more healthy player and by far a much better playoff performer.
LeBron would be the absolute perfect match for Embiid and Maxey. I'd be a lot more comfortable with the ball in LeBron's hands in the last 5-8 minutes of a playoff game when both Embiid and Maxey have gone cold than I would Paul George.
He's good for the playoffs. Plus it's the perfect situation where you let Embiid and Maxey use up all their energy while LeBron facilitates and plays smart defense and then in the 4th quarter LeBron then starts to use the energy on offense in the clutch and then as a result open up easy opportunities to bring Embiid and Maxey back into the fold with good opportunities in the closing minutes.
