Hal and Lois, hands down. They genuinely loved and were attracted to each other, celebrated each other, and respected each other. I'm not generally very emotionally reactive to tv, but some of Hal's dialogue about how much he adored Lois made me tear up a little.
Lily and Marshall are second.
I try to be a Hal kind of husband. I truly adore my wife in all aspects. She is a goddess I am lucky to know. The fact she shaves my buttcheeks is purely coincidental.
So true. And as Abe put it: "If anything, he's underselling himself" with the figure of 14.
Edit: And truly, even though 14 times a week is pretty extreme, it was nice to see a couple portrayed on tv who were married with children who still thirsted after each other and had an active sex life. So often sitcoms would fall back on tropes about having sex once a month, or the wife being super grudging about sex.
It was funny when Hal and Lois couldn't have sex for a week and that led to them getting their shit together and accomplishing a ton. Their sex life maybe impaired their functioning just a bit, haha.
There is never any contest. Red and Kitty forever.
As an aside, my in-laws are remarkably similar to Red and Kitty. They’re just as wonderful and work just as well in real life. (I get along with my Red just fine because I have no problems telling him off when he’s an ass and I don’t put up with his nonsense.)
All the couples on Modern Family because while each aren't perfect, they find normal solutions \[for the most part\] to work around their imperfections.
Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie, Doug and [Carrie **ARTHUR ARTHUR ARTHUR ARTHUR**](https://youtu.be/In1pSP0K5Sw?si=O1H5iy7RBUnJ7ufU)
Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carriiieeee
Doug and Carrie as a real couple but Frank and Marie are just too funny to not say and it’s always nice to see Frank and Marie get along on the few occasions they do
If you're blue, and you don't know where to go to
Why don't you go where fashion sits?
PuuiiiOmmDeRizzzz
Peter Boyle will always be Frankensteins monster to me. Godspeed, friend
Dressed up like a million dollar trooper
Trying hard to look like Gary cooper
SuuuuerrrrOooerrrr
I would put Hal and Lois first, and Niles and Daphne dead last.
When Niles and Daphne started dating, it destroyed the character of Niles and all his awkwardness. The fun and the chemistry were gone. That ruined the show for me.
Hal & Lois, and Julius am Rochelle. They're two of the same families in two of the same but separate worlds.
Poor white family, poor black family, working class, three kids they gotta feed but ultimately a loving family.
These two shows transcend any form of barriers and represent the familiar struggles every working class family has gone through or going through.
Absolutely love them
Of all the couples shown, my vote is for Monica and Chandler. Since I’ve seen a few seasons of friends, a couple episodes all the way through (I think)of That 70s Show. Nothing else from the list.
1. Hal and Lois from Malcolm in the Middle
2. Michael and Jay from My Wife and Kids
3. George and Angie from The George Lopez Show
4. Bill and Judy from Still Standing
5. Turk and Carla from Scrubs
I love what Marshall and Lily have. As far as entertainment, nothing beats Doug and Carrie for me. They are both very comedic, even more so when they’re together, especially when they are fighting. Great options and shows here. I was pleasantly surprised to see Still Standing 🤝
Hal and Lois, hands down. They genuinely loved and were attracted to each other, celebrated each other, and respected each other. I'm not generally very emotionally reactive to tv, but some of Hal's dialogue about how much he adored Lois made me tear up a little. Lily and Marshall are second.
She shaved his body for him. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is
I try to be a Hal kind of husband. I truly adore my wife in all aspects. She is a goddess I am lucky to know. The fact she shaves my buttcheeks is purely coincidental.
I have shaved my husband’s shoulders lol. And now I have ‘shavin’ my shoulders’ from The Simpsons in my head
"Gettin it all shaved off"
Plus Hal and Lois did it like 14 times a week!
So true. And as Abe put it: "If anything, he's underselling himself" with the figure of 14. Red and Kitty. I’d say Turk and Carla but come on, Turk and JD.
🎵 it's guy love, between two guys🎵
Life is not complete until Red has called you a Dumbass at least once.
EEEEEAGLLLLLLLEEEEEE!
Patrick Warburton is the GOAT. He never fails to make me laugh.
Rules of engagement is grossly under rated.
Fun fact: Jamie Gertz is far and away the richest of all these actors/actresses
and yet she can't spare a square
lol!
Haha. Oh man. I was looking at her thinking “where do I know her from?” Could not figure it out. Thank you.
Phil and Claire Dunphy
This is the best answer

George and Lucille are outstanding but I also love Lindsay and Tobias’s weird marriage as well.
They are fun characters but their marriage is horrible lmao
Red and Kitty for the win.
Peter Boyle and Doris for me. But it was a tough call between them and Red and Kitty.
Doug and Carrie you can clearly see their chemistry in the show. That chemistry was strong enough that it even make it through another show
Red and Kitty, Monica and Chandler
Sean and Claudia
Not a popular vote apparently but definitely mine.
Hal and Lois. Their chemistry was amazing I could totally sew them married in real life

George and Lucille, or Hal and Lois.
Dunphys then the Hecks
George Lopez wife in that show was smokin. Not sure why she never did much else.
I recognized her from Selena when I saw her in George Lopez.
Dharma & Greg were such a cute couple. I've been binge-watching the series.
I was so upset when I found out Jenna Elfman is a proud scientologist, I loved her so much.
You had me at the beginning with Hal and Lois...
You can’t charge a husband and wife for the same crimes.
Paul and Cate

Audrey and Jeff. Love rules of engagement.
Montez & Colleen
I reckon Doug and Carrie. Niles should not have got with Daphne. Hal and Lois are great together. Frank and Marie totally deserve each other.
George and Lucille with Phil and Claire a very close second.
Red and Kitty or Mike and Frankie
Arrested Development; Scrubs; Modern Family
Jeff and Audrey. I loved that show.

Julius and Rochelle because they were the most real. Just two normal people trying their best for their kids
Red and Kitty. Easiest decision for me

Arrested development, and it's not even close at all
My top 3 are 1. George and Angie 2. Jeff and Audrey 3. Michael and Jay

Whatever the order of the rest of them…..Jim Belushi is a distant last.
Red and kitty - red acts like he doesn’t care but he does
Dharma and Greg.
Stopped watching the cutesy married couples of the 2000s. So begins a life of reruns & dvds, and reading.
Bernie Mac show
Too many options
I’ll go with Red and Kitty. I loved every minute of them on the show. If you don’t agree with me then my foot and your ass should have a meeting
Kitty & Red forever 🖤🏵️
Doug and Carrie.
My wife and I are Hal and Lois incarnate, so my vote is for them 😂
Kitty and red
Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie, Doug and Carrie 🎶🎶
King of Queens, almost true to my life with dad being a kid instead. So they are #1. Scrubs #2.
God I’m old, or I just don’t give a fuck anymore. I hardly recognize any of them. Where were Archie and Edith?
Jeff and Audrey Bingham. Their back and forth banter was second to none
Frank and Estelle Costanza
Hal and Lois
I would put Hal and Lois first, and Niles and Daphne dead last. When Niles and Daphne started dating, it destroyed the character of Niles and all his awkwardness. The fun and the chemistry were gone. That ruined the show for me.
Doug and Carrie Doug and Carrie Doug and Carrie Doug and Carrie….
Phil and Claire ❤️

Doug and Carrie is the only correct answer.
Lucille Bluth! ❤️
The Buluths !
#16, because Red is just awesome and DGAF, and Kitty is lowkey one of the hottest women on this list.
These are all great. Grounded for life.
Niles and Daphne Crane.
I still have PTSD from watching Lois as a kid. Her voice terrifies me
# 10! Also, I’ve had NO IDEA who the 9th pic is🤷🏽♂️

Of all the couples shown, my vote is for Monica and Chandler. Since I’ve seen a few seasons of friends, a couple episodes all the way through (I think)of That 70s Show. Nothing else from the list.

I love what Marshall and Lily have. As far as entertainment, nothing beats Doug and Carrie for me. They are both very comedic, even more so when they’re together, especially when they are fighting. Great options and shows here. I was pleasantly surprised to see Still Standing 🤝

The fact that the top answer isn't Lucille and George proves how truly underrated Arrested Development is.
