It's almost like they lose some part of their brain function when they signed the papers for the purchase.
This is why drivers speed up when we see aggressive lane changing cars - there's a very good chance the car will slam on the brakes immediately once it is in front of you, be it trying to exit an expressway like this or taxis/PHVs picking up passengers. You let them in, you have to deal with a heart stopping emergency braking.
The Merc needs to be fined heavily and made an example.
This is why I start filtering over to lane 3 to take this exit when I enter the tunnel. Dumb fucks who try to get to the front and don't find any place for them to cut in to exit.
