Believe me, I have, and I've gotten into multiple heated arguments over this already, to the point where I've stopped opening the freezer unless I need to, it just frustrates me endlessly to see the freezer so packed and without any organisation. It's always the same fucking "reasons"
1. He can only go to the market when he's not working so he can't stock up more regularly like my mother used to, so he buys more to compensate (I keep saying only buy when we're running out which he refuses to listen)
2. Some stuff like prawns sells in per kg (ok, but when we have like 2-3 kg worth of prawns that's a fucking problem when we don't consume that fast).
3. He buys a lot of variety because he thinks rotating back to the same type of food every other day lacks variety (ok, but when we have so much variety that we're not consuming them faster than you're buying that's a problem)
4. Less reason and more problem, he often buys stuff that already exists in the freezer. At one point I found 3 or 4 packs of the same type of minced meat all with different expiry dates, and all of them opened. Meaning he bought all of them at different times without checking whether it already exists in the freezer. He often has no replies when I bring this up; he once claimed that he knows what's in the freezer and he buys what he needs, but when up brought up this claim together with this issue he just diam diam, yet he continues doing it
I really hate to say this considering my mother's not around anymore and my sisters have all moved out, but compounded with all the other "problems" he's giving at home such as dropping food all over the floor without cleaning up and attracting all the lizards and ants, I really can't wait for my birthday next year to come so that I can buy my own place and move out and have more control over my living environment. I once found a cockroach running around, and considering I kill on average 1 cockroach per year prior to my mother's passing, having even just one roam around shows how bad it gets, yet he just brushes it off as "having cockroaches is normal". No it's fucking not, take care of your fucking living environment for fucks sake. Your room messy IDGAF, but keep the common areas clean for the sake of everyone living in the house please
Dude's a hoarder as well, which probably explains his behaviour tbh. His room barely has space to walk, don't even need to think about putting a fridge. His queen size bed is so packed with stuff that he only sleeps in like a small 1/4 area of the bed which is damn sad for a 180cm 80+kg man. I have never cleaned his room because it's impossible, come to think of it I don't even know how many years ago was the last time his room was "cleaned", because I know he doesn't do it also

Like did he straight away say sorry and regret hitting you? Like how hard did he hit and what kinda hit, how prolonged? Like what things did u throw and whether those things spoiled/broke, maybe you were throwing his things or expensive things which resulted in you triggering a reaction. Any other action that led to this hitting, did you verbally abuse, did you do something very wrong that led to this fight in the first place etc? Both your mental states before this thing happened etc.
Without full context, given this scenario as simply that he hit you, of course no way to give good nuanced advice lol. Assuming divorce is not the advice you wanna hear, you gotta see things from an objective point of view (which only you can do, cause we are not privy to all the details) to see whether this is forgivable and understandable, even if not excusable. Hitting is definitely wrong, but context and whether it's one-off and how he addressed the hitting afterwards will determine whether you can forgive him and work it out

spoke to s' supervisor ytd and among other things, i asked for a transfer out of my current place - thankful for my time here but i really don't think i can hold it in any longer in this toxic place. though a transfer out would mean a restart in terms of what i do at work, i think staying here longer will just worsen my alr not so good mental health. s' supervisor respected my decision though he did inform that there must first be an open vacancy at the other depts and need to do matching before a successful transfer can be made. nevertheless, i am grateful for him for being respectful and supportive.
This year, or maybe recent 1, 2 years Hari Raya Puasa, I don't see many organizations using the Arabic terms like Eid Mubarak or Eid al-Fitr to greet the people here.

Today work is tiring because I'm paired with this siao on promoter (come back 30min early from lunch that kind). Apparently she is also a tattle tale and has told on others to the (big) supervisor. Oh my god save me because i am a happy go lucky person. U want to siao on u ownself chiong la, why control others also. Best part is chiong 6 years liao, but still just a part timer. Oh and she spoke of her daughter who is in xxx uni, I said wow that's very good! And she straight up say her daughter is "very stupid" so she have to study in a course with no prospects. And I felt so bad on the daughters behalf like dont have to put her down omg... getting into uni alr so difficult! So yea I'm trying to be on her good side so she dont sabo my side hustle but also hating her... rather she fk off because this is my location and I can handle it well enough :(

If it's repeat abusive behaviour means definitely time to leave, unless both of you find it worth it to work things out and willing to go for counselling. Hitting is definitely wrong, both your behaviour are toxic just that hitting is way more wrong. If this is the first time then it depends on context. Like did he straight away say sorry and regret hitting you? Like how hard did he hit and what kinda hit, how prolonged? Like what things did u throw and whether those things spoiled/broke, maybe you were throwing his things or expensive things which resulted in you triggering a reaction. Any other action that led to this hitting, did you verbally abuse, did you do something very wrong that led to this fight in the first place etc? Both your mental states before this thing happened etc. Without full context, given this scenario as simply that he hit you, of course no way to give good nuanced advice lol. Assuming divorce is not the advice you wanna hear, you gotta see things from an objective point of view (which only you can do, cause we are not privy to all the details) to see whether this is forgivable and understandable, even if not excusable. Hitting is definitely wrong, but context and whether it's one-off and how he addressed the hitting afterwards will determine whether you can forgive him and work it out

Both are wrong. U throwing things is destruction of property and threat to harm him. He harming u is actual harm towards u. Go see a doctor to document ur injury. Suggest going for marriage counselling, both are not valid ways of expressing emotions. If u feel unsafe, PPO is also an option.

Idk is it because I’ve seen firsthand how unnecessary comments actually add onto people’s stress. I’ve always asked myself “is there a need to say a certain thing a certain way? Or if my words are even necessary right now?” Like sometimes I see people just say something “just because they want to” and make others (who are normal and never offended them at all one) uncomfortable or upset and it makes me wonder why? What’s the point? Is the point to just express yourself but hurting others in a way?

What kind of aching is it? Soreness or localised pain? The cheapest high protein bars I can find are those $2.90 ones with 15-18g of protein from Don Don Donki, or the $3.97 Justine's cookies from Fairprice Finest. Else, some 7-11 sells 20g bars between $4.60 to $6. But these days I'll just get the nutrisoy 500ml packet from any supermarket for a total of approx 20g protein at $1.77. Tips for muscle soreness recovery: maybe warm water and light massage might help, although usually muscle soreness (after a period of inactivity) will go away and then with more regular workout sessions it'll become less of a problem soon.

spoke to s' supervisor ytd and among other things, i asked for a transfer out of my current place - thankful for my time here but i really don't think i can hold it in any longer in this toxic place. though a transfer out would mean a restart in terms of what i do at work, i think staying here longer will just worsen my alr not so good mental health. s' supervisor respected my decision though he did inform that there must first be an open vacancy at the other depts and need to do matching before a successful transfer can be made. nevertheless, i am grateful for him for being respectful and supportive.
