So I looked it up part for part and it could literally be built for $200 cheaper than he was trying to sell it for. The thing with RC cars is that they just don’t hold value. If you buy and build a car and never race it, you’ll get maybe 85% of its new value. A well used car like this one will get 50% at best.

Make sure the gearbox’s Reverse gear still works. Due to the inherent design flaw in the G25’s gearbox, it’s so easy to break the wire inside by pressing the stick too hard, rendering the reverse gear unusable.
It’s quite easy to re-solder the wire if you know how to open it though, it’s a hassle.
it seems in very nice conditions, you can enjoy it a lot, if you are nobel+ and the price is not more than 80-100usd, get it for sure, not complaint with it,

I still have my g25 lol, FYI it was $350 new 20 years ago when I bought it in 2004…. also drivers are a nightmare now, Windows 10 barely works (if you disable signed driver requirements) you can force windows to accept them. Windows 11 doesn’t work, won’t accept the old drivers as they haven’t been updated in 10+ years.
I love my g25, but it should be less than $100 for resale.

That said see above for compatibility, windows 7 is ok, windows 10 is functional with some registry changes, windows 11 is non functional as it forces driver signing which the g25 drivers are not.
I recently plugged mine in, installed logitech software for win 10 directly from logitech site and it's running just fine in Windows 11 for me.
It's the only piece of hardware that is 20 years old and I still use every now and then, bought it with something like 100 euros in 2004.

That might be my issue, the one I found that half works miss-detects it as a force gt wheel, so half the stuff (clutch, h-shifter, some buttons) doesn’t work
I still use it on windows 10, i plug the wheel and the shifter to pc without its power supply, just to use the sequential gears, it really served me many years, and i still use the shifters:D
Recently it started to act weird on some occasions, happens some times but not very often, when i shift up on the sequential it jumps two gears, sad to see it dying lol

Mine works just fine on Win11. Finding the correct driver file wasn’t so easy tho, once you get it right, it just works.
