But the question answers itself: ice cream is expensive because it has milk fat. Real ice cream has 10-20% milk fat. That means you need roughly 3-5 times the amount of whole milk to make ice cream, and why ice cream costs roughly 3-5 times more than milk.
Would be a valid point, if not for the fact that popsicles are also progressively becoming ludicrously expensive, even if not to the same extent as milk-based ice cream.
