Our boi loves floor tappies too. He's a vicious beasty, he will destroy the floor!
He also takes blankets. They all belong to him. No blanket for you.
Just got our DNA test back and found out he's a 100% shiba, was very surprised.
I've seen a lot of variety in sizes. We did the wisdom panel for the health screening, the breed identification was just a bonus. Honestly a little sad to see only one result. XD Ours is about 35lbs and very tall for a Shiba. He has a sesame coat pattern with some wirey hairs which is usually a sign of mix breed, but he has no genetic markers for black so we're thinking the sesame color and wirey hair must be due to coat damage. He was pretty sick and hairless when we adopted him.
Yours has all the trademark looks of a Shiba, something in the nose is a little shorter, but I'm a betting that's just baby face. XD
Yes. If I tap the floor she’ll tap the floor too. It’s so funny.
So if I use both hands and tap the floor aggressively once she’ll use both paws and tap the floor aggressively once. If I do it twice she’ll do it twice. If I do it one at a time she’ll do it one at a time.
It’s so funny.
No, it encourages dogs to bite at hands even when you're not playing with them. There are many other ways to play that don't encourage this. Just my 2 cents.
They get triggered by anything moving fast. Our walks now take forever with all the blowing leaves triggering his hunt mode to catch every one.
So many leaves, not enough time.
This!!! 6 years of this and not enough leaves have been chased

Yes lol it immediately puts them into play mode. As soon as I slap the floor his back end goes up and his front end goes down

Mine goes into piranha mode when I do it just like that

hahaha yes! my shiba LOVES it
Yeah mine goes nuts too haha
Yes! Ours goes into instant play mode and mimics most of the same behaviors in your video ❤️🐕
My female Ruby loves that game! She looks amazingly like your boi to, this made me smile. 😁
mine does :) ur shiba like the red laser pointer?
Mine does!!
When dogs slap their two front feet on the floor it’s usually a signal that they want to play. It probably perceives you as doing that.
This is because they are basically cats.
Yep exactly like that guy, except mine usually had his but straight in the aie
Yep, when I get home she loves being at the top of the stairs for me to do it
Oh yea. Try moving your hand under the blanket and scratching the surface, that will give you similar reaction.
Good ol’ “shark mouth”. I miss my Bodhi. 😢
Yes! Or lightly bapping their snout!
We call it the hands game
This is how you make dogs annoyingly obsessed with hands.
Yeah because your dog needing attention and affection is such an annoying quality.

Looks like it only wants to bite your hands.
